Friday 15th October - Ganga's unnecessary build up over SK
Why this lady is giving so much build up over her preg/seemandam/SK, that too for so many weeks 😭 - GOK (God only knows) - ultimately it will turn out to be something LAME -the serial makers think we viewers will devour eagerly whatever they dish out - Hello, THANGAM team - credit us with some intelligence and don't give us crap. 😡
The epi starts with Vadivu and Saravanan in a Chennai hotel. Sara is writing something busily. Room service comes and he orders coffee and that too only one cup (why, can't he order for Vadivu also? 😕). Vadivu comes out of the restroom and gets ready. But Sara says - you stay here and I will go and see machchan in office and ask him what time to come in the evening to his quarters for giving seemandam pathrikai. It won't be nice if both of us go and see him in office talking about personal things. Vadivu is not happy at this, but Sara does not bother - he just leaves.
Sara goes to the collector's office. He talks to the PA, by that time, the collector arrives, busily talking on the phone and does not even see Saravanan. When Sara calls 'machan', he turns and apologizes. IN his cabin he says he is busy now - leaving for Delhi flight and says sorry and all that - and that he will come one day before seemandam - he does not need pathrikai etc.
A disappointed Saravanan comes back and tells Vadivu everything, how SK acted very abruptly etc. Then he says, Vadivu, don't be disappointed, we will go to 'Enthiran', go shopping and then go back to ooru. Vadivu is angry but is helpless. She tries calling SK on cell phone, but it is switched off. She is worried and wonders what she is going to tell Ganga on going back. (Good acting by Vadivu - they can give her a longer role - tired of Ilavanji)
Just when I thought happily I wont see Ila in this epi - she is all there with Mangakka in the gynaec's office. She throws the pathrikai at the doc and shouts at her for lying to her father about Ganga's preg matter, when she told her everything about her abortion . She asks her to come to the function and watch how Ganga's lie is going to be exposed. The doc keeps quiet at all this and then shooes them away saying she is busy.
Vadivu is back and thinking whether to call Ganga when the phone rings. Ganga is at the other end, asking frantically about the visit. Vadivu tells all. Ganga is disappointed and said she had been hoping that Vadivu would be able to bridge their virisal through her visit to SK, but that has not happened.
Aruvai thodarum 😭 ... next week. My prediction for next week - Even by next Friday, 'tis a doubt if the seemandam will happen. They will ottify with Ila and Kula for a couple of days, Ila and Vadivu for one day, Karthik and Kula for one day, cry baby Subbu for one day and so on.
