true jonaki this point struck me too... actually it might be a blooper... or rather a less emphasized part of the story that should have been explained more hai na... 🤔
since they have spent such a long time to show taanu's strong/special/unusual/untainted bonds of friendship, they could have shown a stronger reason for anu and taani to have NOT remained in contact...(since they appear to be too devoted a pair to lose touch)

hence, if they would have shown a particular/strong reason to have split the couple it would have made the script seem stronger... hai na... 😊

If we search for the logic, Subodh being in touch with Taani also sounded stupid for me... 😕
Just because of him all these happened. And if she had found him, this thing could have reached Shekar's ears long before! He was introduced to him just yesterday without much anticipation.
One thing we should all learn is, 'watch without questions!' 😆
(And I'm starting to like Subodh! 😳 😆)
