Hello all... *waves* I wrote this on Valentine's Day 😳 and posted it on another forum... Now it is for you... Hope you'll enjoy!
The whole city is beautifully decorated with roses and heart shaped balloons. In front of my eyes, couples are walking hand in hand, lost in love. Everyone looked so much in love. Not only this city, but also the whole world celebrates this beautiful Valentine's Day. But me, walking all alone, thinking of my girl, to the parking lot of the party hall.
Today my friends are celebrating the Valentine's Day with their loved ones. I had no mood to party so, I'm leaving. My mind is fully occupied by Taani who is the only girl I love to live with. My heart aches whenever I think about her. It hurts badly to realize that she had denied my proposal of love. I'm badly hurt and upset of that.

Taani is my neighbor. I saw her first time in my apartment. I was happy to know that she's going to stay opposite to me. But all that I got from her is frowning. She didn't like me. She refused to smile and to talk. She ignored me all the way and all the time. For the very first time in my life, I was ignored by a girl. This is totally new for me. I think I'm going behind her badly because this whole "being-ignored-by-girl" thing is different for me.
Months passed. I somehow managed to talk to her. After sometime, I proposed her. But she denied. I'm badly trying to forget her. But couldn't.

I entered the parking lot and went near my car, when someone bumped on me.
"Can't you watch--- Taani?!" I was irritated by someone bumping on me but totally speechless to see Taani.
She was wearing a white and pink color salwar kameez. She looked scared. Tears were flowing from her eyes. Her hair was stuck all over her face. She was shocked to see me, I think. Her face showed it. She trembled with fear.
She hid herself behind me and caught my shirt tightly and looked on the opposite direction of mine. I saw two guys running forward towards us. When they saw me, they stooped and looked at each other. One of them had Taani's duppatta in his hand.
I frowned at them with so much anger and my face turned red. I saw them turning around and running back. I should actually thank them. Not for coming behind Taani, but for making her seek my shelter.
I turned around and kept my hand on her shoulder. "Are you all right?"
She nodded looking down..
"Can I drop you home?" I asked.
She nodded again still looking down. She's too feminine and I liked it.

We didn't spoke much in the car. When we went up through the lift, she spoke.
"It's okay, if you wish; you can stay in my flat till your friend comes back." She shares her flat with her classmate.
She again nodded and said, "Thanks."
"For what?", I asked looking at her.
"For everything!" she smiled.
"You are smiling at me for the first time." I couldn't resist but tell.
Suddenly, her face turned and I could see that she's feeling guilty.
We went in my house and I offered her a drink.
"Is your house and my house are of same layout?" she asked looking the furniture. "You've designed your house very well."
"Thanks, and no, my house has an extra room. Would you like to take a tour of the house?"
"Sure" she got up.
I showed her every part of the house and we lastly entered my room. She looked around. I suddenly remembered something, took my blanket and covered a huge photo frame that hung on my wall.
She noticed it and asked me with a smirk. "What's that? Any bikini girl?"
I shook my head disapprovingly. "She's a princess!" I said smiling and looking outside of my window. She came near me to the window and we both watched the sunset.
Then all of a sudden, a gentle but strong breeze passed us. Mesmerized by its chillness, she turned from the window and looked at my room again. In other words, she's facing me now.
She looked at every single thing of the room and I was happily watching her. Suddenly, I saw her face changing into a serious expression. Her face tightened, her skin became pale in shock and her lips and nose turned to a pink. She's trying to control her tears. I was shocked as well as surprised by her expression and turned to look, what had caught her sight like that.
The blanket with which I had covered the frame was now lying down due to the wind. The frame which had my princess' photo is now open to watch. The same pretty face of a girl who's standing with me now. I bit my tongue and slowly turned to convince her.
"Taani, that is--", she cut me off.
"Ssshhh", she kept her fingers on my lips. "Don't say anything."
Caught by embarrassment, I stood stunned.
"Anurag, I want to tell you something." She said hesitatingly.
I nodded. I prepared myself for another round of mood out as she's surely going to reject me again.
"The girl in the photo, your princess, wants to ask you something."
I nodded again with a stiff face.
"She's asking whether are you ready to save her and protect her throughout her life?" her tears escaped from her eyes.
I caught it before her tears rolled down. I held her love expression tightly in my fist. "Till I die", I said as I was surprised. But I also had to make her understand my love.
She broke out in tears and hugged me tightly. I hugged back and whispered in her ears. "I love you, Taani"
She looked up and smiled, "Till I die!"
