Yes the show completed fifty episodes today and what a way to reach the milestone👏... I agree it started on a dry note and slow pace but where it is now, I have very few complains.
The episode today was fab! It had all four characters doing the best to make it a riveting 20 odd minutes.
Lets start with Akshay(obviously😆) the man is torn between the two ladies in his life, both equally important in different ways though. Vijaya he cares for and can't see her suffer but Nandini is the one he loves. He has a family with Vijaya, though loveless their relationship has become vital to his everyday life, he can't function without her around and on the other hand he knows Nandini is the only one who can fill that void of love in his life...He knows he cannot hurt either of them but also that he will end up grieving one. He is in the worst situation out of the three in this triangle where he is at loss either way. He has the worst decision to make where he has to weigh the sorrow on both sides and live with the guilt no matter who he ends up with.
Next comes Nandini, way to go girl! She was bang on in expressing her anger, frustration, confusion, guilt and fear. Thats a lot to deal with and although she always came across as a selfish, egoistic woman, her intentions were crystal clear today and her attitude couldnt be better. She gave Akshay an earful about his supposed 'date' with Vijaya and went all calm when he reassured her. I loved the way she deciphered her relationship with Irfan when Akshay questioned her with jealousy. She did well again when Irfan rebuked Akshay for coming to visit her in 'their' house but she cares for Irfan enough to let him be until Akshay left and saved her fury for later. She opened up about all her insecurities and cried for a positive reply from Irfan but he set her right with the harsh realities of life. Poor Nandini is in for more heartache.Ouch!
Vijaya's turn and I can't help but feel sorry for this woman who is extremely tough at times and feeble as hell too on some occasions. Neeti is the centre of her world and Akshay makes her world complete. She is grateful and indebted to Akshay for being the support she needed and has fallen in love with him in the course of time. She didnt love him from the beginning obviously because she loved Nilesh, the father of her child but fell for Akshay gradually as she saw him being the perfect father of HER daughter. She knew her boundaries with him right from the start but its quite natural for her to feel the need to love and be loved back. She genuinely cares for Akshay and wants him to be happy but would she care if her relationship is at stake? only time will tell.
Finally the star of today's show, Dr. Irfan👏 he is one top class pychiatriast and a great friend. In his short meeting with Vijaya he cleverly guaged her concerns and also gave her some useful advice. He is an honest person and can see what Akshay means to Vijaya...keeping his love aside, he wants Akshay to stop giving Nandini any false hopes of a future together cause he knows Nandini wont be able to make it through if he leaves her again. He reminded Akshay of his wife who he conveniently forgot about and showed him how important Nandini's well being is to him. He was harsh with Nandini again when he showed her the cruel reality of being called a mistress. He was bang on about how Akshay's 8 years with Vijaya will outweigh her few years with him. He knows how marriages work in the name of responsibily and love eventually becomes a commodity. His words may hurt her now but in the long run they will only help her in letting Akshay go. It must take a lot of selflessness to be the guy Irfan was today, he totally owned the epi!
