If someone else thinks marriage has more importance than first love comes with responsibilities and respect then it is YES HE'S CHEATING:

he is cheating. If he wasn't, first thing he would do when he came across nandini in hospital for interview he would introduce her to vijaya as atleast his old friend. He kept mum from beginning. Why. Vijaya was aware even at that time that akshay doesnt love her. What stopped him. That was his own inner conscience. All i want to say is be truthful.

I also say it he's cheating because if Vijaya would have done it then she would have been tagged as a characterless woman...
What and how to call akshay...He kept quiet because he's not interested with Vijaya he never feels to give her an answer I mean no respect because as he said it today he has no physical relationship with her...His keeping quiet talks volume.

When someone weak and opportunist like Vijaya gets too ready to marry someone who is only having pity on her, then she should be prepared for all future troubles like breaking of marriage or what one calls cheating. The fault is as much hers as of others'.
