Twinkle thought in herself she is walking with someone whom she met just a few minutes ago. She should feel awkward but to her surprise she is pretty comfortable with him.' She observed that his eyebrows were frowning now and then. Finally he broke the silence between them-See the sky is overcastted with black clouds. I don't think the rain is going to stop soon.'
Seems so. Don't know how but Maa always warns me about the forthcoming danger. I should have listed to her and made a phone call. Now the stupid phone is out of charge and I afraid she must be in tension'- saying so she got lost in the thoughts.
You can use my phone' he uttered. She hesitated first but he lend his phone in such a manner that she couldn't deny.

Twinkle where are you puttar' Leela uttered in a tensed voice. Why didn't you call me? It's raining so heavily and I got so tensed that I called you several times. I even called Chinki. She told me you were working in the library. I almost had panic attacks thinking if my daughter is safe or not.'
Twinkle could feel her mother was sobbing. Maa I am alright. Got so much busy in the work that I didn't realize it was already evening. My phone was out of charge. Don't come to pick me Maa. It will take much time. A friend will help me to find a taxi. I will be home shortly.'
Leela: I don't know what life has stored for me. Come soon.'
Kunj who was silently listening to their conversation now talked , Did you just say a friend will help you to find a taxi? But kuch der pehele hi to you said we are strangers right?'- he again frowned his eyebrows.
Twinkle: Please stop annoying me. You know how mothers are like. I had to say so to make her calm. Friend and you!!! You would be the last person with who I would like to befriend with. Huh!!'
Kunj: I see. And who told you I want to befriend you? I am just helping you because my mom taught me to help people if they are in problems.'
Twinkle. Okay okay. Don't take too much of credit. Because of the rain I got stuck. Otherwise, I would have never come along with you.
Kunj: Can you please shut your mouth and sit on the bench for a while? I don't think we will find a Taxi somewhere near. I have to go forward to hire one. Keep the umbrella and sit there.'
Twinkle: But if I take the umbrella you will get drenched.'
Kunj: Don't worry about me. I will manage. You need the umbrella more. If you get drenched you will get fever. Just go and sit there. I will be back soon'- saying that he handed over the umbrella to her.
Twinkle took the umbrella and move forward towards the nearby bench. She observed him walking ahead. He got all drenched in the rain but was not at all bothered about it. After sometime he turned back to see whether she was in the right place or not. As if he was trying to assure she was okay. Then he quickly turned back and speeded his walk.
Twinkle was sitting on the bench holding the blue umbrella. She had thousands of questions in her mind. For the first time she felt that it feels wonderful if someone cares for you. There was no one in her life except Maa who got tensed for her. Wish Papa were here to make her feel special. She didn't notice when pearls like tears started to roll down from her eyes. One thing which she didn't know was that she looked like a deity who didn't belong to this world.
It was noticed by Kunj who was standing in front of her with the taxi. Hey are you alright?' he uttered.
Twinkle's thoughts were interrupted by that familiar voice. When did you come' she asked him in an awkward voice.
When you were lost in your thoughts' he quickly replied. Before she could say anything he just said Here is the taxi. Go home. Your Maa must be worried.'
She just couldn't say anything. She went near the taxi, folded the umbrella and got in.
When the taxi started she noticed that guy who was still standing there, smiling and waving his hand towards her. Rain drops were pouring on him and he just stood there carelessly. Suddenly she felt like she didn't want to go back. She wanted to get drenched with him, standing beside him exactly where he was. But the next moment her thoughts somehow disappeared and a feeling of loneliness surrounded her...
