Chapter 29
Twinkle reached Amritsar at night. Manohar had come to pick her up from airport. She sat down in the car in the backseat with Inaya who also had come to pick her up. Manohar was sitting at the front seat with driver.
Ma: Twinkle beta call Kunj and tell him u have reached safely. He must be worried na.
Twinkle face fell. She could not call Kunj but It was true that Kunj wud be worried she thought. She came up with an excuse.
Tw: voh papaji mere fone ki battery dead hai.. So plzz aap bta do.
Inaya had already noted that her fone was not switched off and the uncertainity on her face. She found something fishy but thought it was the best to ignore now.
Manohar called Kunj and informed him about Twinkle's arrival.
Kunj was at home sitting tensed in the living room and thinking what to do when Manohar had called him. He sighed and relaxed that Twinkle was ok.
Kunj could not come up with any solution.
The thought of separation from Twinkle was eating him from inside and he was becoming restless with each passing second.
On the other hand in Amritsar Twinkle had reached home and had met everyone with a smile plastered on her face. Inside she also was not happy and was thinking of Kunj. What he must be going through..
She excused herself from everyone saying she was tired and went to her room.
Once she entered, she locked the door behind her and fell down crying leaning against the door. She wanted to shout and smash things to vent out her anger but somehow controlled herself.
She was missing Kunj badly but still was angry with him.
Kunj had again called her but her fone was on silent and she dint notice his call.
In chandigarh, Kunj threw his phone away in anger and it broke. He needed someone especially Twinkle at this point of time.
He went towards the bar and opened up alcohol bottle. He chugged down the whole bottle in one go. He smashed the empty bottle and started opening the other bottle. He found alcohol the best way to vent his pain out with. He almost drank 4 bottles before drifting to sleep. He slept on the couch itself chanting Twinkle's name continuously. Same went with Twinkle too ! She slept on the bed thinking about Kunj and what should she do next.
Next morning----
Twinkle woke up, she composed herself and got ready. She went down and joined everyone at the breakfast table.
Tw: good morning everyone.
Everyone wished her morning. Inaya noticed her swollen eyes and dark circles but she thought on keeping quiet. She would talk later abt this with Twinkle.
Inaya: bhabhi.. Me and mahi are planning today's day out. Wud u come with us plzzz ?
Twinkle wanted to refuse as she had no mood to go out but then thought that Mahi and Inaya might feel bad.
Twinkle: yes Inaya. I am coming with u.
Inaya: great bhabhi.. Go and get ready.. We are leaving in 30 mins.
Twinkle went to her room to get ready.
She checked her fone and saw so many missed calls from Kunj from last night.
Tw: ohh my god ! So many missed calls from Kunj. Shit ! My fone was on silent and I did not see it. I hope Kunj is ok. I am feeling so restless.
She called back Kunj but his fone was switched off.
She felt disappointed and went down after getting ready.
In chandigarh---
Kunj woke up with a severe headache. Hangover had took a toll over him. He shouted
Ku: Twinkle can u plzz get me lemon water. I need it so badly.
And getting no response, he remembered evrything.
He got up and made himself lemon water.
He got ready waiting for any call from Twinkle but did not get any. He too was disappointed.
Twinkle went out with Mahi and Inaya. They shopped and chatted. But all the while Twinkle was thinking about Kunj and was sad inside. She plastered a smile across her face.
Kunj went to his office and was angry and frustrated. He was shouting on all the employs and this was different from his nature. Jai noticed all this.
Meanwhile Kunj recieved the call from the same lady.
Lady: good morning Mr. Sarna. Hope u r okay. Arre abhi toh aapko ek bada jhatka lagne wala hai.. Thoda khayal rkhna apna.. Maine socha pehle hi warning de doon.
Ku: what the hell are u talking about ?
Lady: ohho ! Calm down Mr. Sarna. U will get to know soon. Main apna promise poora krne waali hoon.. Remember ! I am gonna ruin u. Vaise I have a deal for u. U can save ur company from the huge loss.
Ku: I am not interested in ur non sense. Do whatever u want to do.
Lady: arre sun toh lo Mr. Sarna. Deal yeh hai ki aap apni wife ko chod kr mere saath aa jao.. And I will save ur company from losses. Kya kehte ho Mr. Sarna ?
Ku: just shut up and get lost ! U are nowhere close to my wife. Just get lost u b**ch..
Lady: yeh aapne thik nahi kiya mr sarna.. U r gonna pay for it.. Just wait and watch.
