Twinke forgets herself in pursuit of others which is why she needed someone like Kunj to take care of her who is selfish in his approach. Kunj's protectiveness over her self-sacrificing has been prominent since she decided to go agniprakesha for Mahi whereas Yuvi always took advantage o her self-sacrificing trait by making her sacrifice her relations for him.
Twinkle thinking for herself will not happen ever as self-sacrifice and putting others before her is the biggest flaw of Twinkle just as anger is Kunj's.
