It was a Sunday morning...Mahi-Mihika had already left for Mahi's boutique...Raman had gone office to complete a few of his pending projects...Pinni mamii had gone to visit her parents...while Twinkle was still asleep...she hardly slept till so late...but she was tired...it was in around 10:30 in the morning when Leela went to her room to wake her up...along with tea...she wanted to sit and talk with Twinkle regarding the proposal they had received about her & Kunj's wedding. Twinkle and Leela were sitting in Twinkle's room sipping their tea and talking about the dinner last night...
L: Twinkle tere liye Kunj ka proposal aayaa hai...humne teri janam patri toh de di hai...agar jud jaati hai..toh iske baat decision tum dono ka hi hoga. T:Ye kab hua maa...? She was a little surprised with the revealation of this news..because it was so unexpected to her...everything came flashing down her mind...Mahi teasing them...she never thought it would be true...

U: Leelaaa...ek good news hai...aaj pandit ji aaye the...bas abhii hi gaye hai...thdi der pehle...or twinkle-kunj ki janam patrii jud gayii ha..pandit jii ne bhii bolaaa hai...best match hai...yrr mai bhtt khush hu...
L: kyaa...sachchii...ye toh bht achchii news haii...ab toh bas bachchon ke upar hai...wo kya karna chahte hai...
Twinkle understood with the excitement in Leela's voice and her laughs about what her aunt would have told..that made her maa so happy...she smiled seeing her mother so happy...after the conv. was over Leela turned to Twinkle and broke the news to her...later that day when everyone returned home..Leela shared this news with everyone and was way too excited...and then the drawing room was filled with laughter..giggles...and teasing...
T: Maa aapka phone kaha hai..Usha aunty ka call mere phone pr aa rha hai...rukoo mai pick kr letii hu...Hello..aunty namaste...
U: Namasteyy bachche..kaise ho..?
T: bilkul theek aunty...aap kaisee ho?
U: Mai toh bht achchi hu...achca beta i think you know about your's and kunj's proposal..and i thinkk leela ne tumhe bata diya hoga ki tumhari and kunj ki janm patrii jud gayii hai?
T: jee aunty bata diaa tha maa ne mujhe..
U: toh beta mai bas yahi chahti thi ki jo b tum log ka decision ho wo jaldi se aa jaaye..or agar tum mind na kro..ya ek baar tum leela se pooch lena mai chahti hu ki tum dono ek baar akele mei mil lo...kahii bahar...aaj nahi kal parson mei..?
T: Aunty...mujhe maaa se poochna padegaa..mujhe koi prob. nhii hai...mai aapki maa sei baat krwa deti hu...
And then it was decided that twinkle n kunj would go for a meeting..next day...at the Cafe Coffee day...in the evening. Next day Twinkle left for her Univerrsity...and she directly went to CCD to meet Kunj...she was wearing a kurtii..hair left open..and carried a handbag..and her phone in hand...and waited outside the CCD...after a couple of mins Kunj too arrived wearing a black shirt and blue denims...
They both greeted each other and then went inside...and sat at one of the tables...
K: tum kuch logii...mai order place kar deta huu..
T: kuch bhii chalegaa...tum le aaoo..apne aap..
K: okay..mai aata hu...he quickly went and placed the order..they both were now sitting and sipping their smoothies slowly and talking..kunj was the first one to initiate...
K: toh hum yaha ek reason se hai..tumhe jo poochna hai tum pooch lo...and if u want me to ask first..then i can..
T: sure..you go ahead...uske baad I'll continue..
K: so tum arranged marriage kyu karna chahti ho..i mean ain't there anyone in your life?
T: Umm...maine in sab cheezon mei kabhii itna dhyaan nahi dia...mai bht focussed thi..ab jab mai earn kar rhi hu..or mera pass ek achcha job hai toh maa wants ki mai settle ho jaaun..n secondly i know whoever the person i will be hitchd too...wo meri maa ki pasnd bhi hoga...n i completely trust her in all the cases...islie..
K: agar kabhi mai tumhe ye bolta hu..means if we say a yes to this..kii..leave ur career or ur job for my family..toh kyaa tum krogii?
T: i definitely love myy job...but usse zyada i love my family..meri pehlii priority will be my husband...so yes i will...
K: But in an arranged marriage u know each other so less...then cope up karna mushkil nahi hoga...?
T: see jiske bhii saath meri shadi hogiii..one thing i know..hum ek dusre ko bht achche se jaanenge lekin time ke saatg..har cheez time ke saath unfold hogii...hum do log ek dusre ke har ek side ko witness karenge..n i think that is what u call the beauty of arranged marriage...hume pata hai hum compatible hai...lekin ab hum dono hi ek dusre mei kya dhoondh rhe hai...ye toh hum hii jaante hai na...
K: Toh tum kya qualities chahtii hu apne husband mei..?
T: Zyada kuch nahii he should be educated...respected..dignified..noble...trustworthy n understanding...or wo smoke na karta hoo...
K: okay now you go aheasd..?
T: Mujhe bas tumse ek hi cheez poochnii hai..please bura mat manna..if your wife ever gives birth to a daughter..what will be ur reaction..? Kunj was a little surprised when he heard this question..because he wasn't expecting any such thing...K: obviously I'll be the happiest person alive..I mean mujhe toh ek beti hi chahiye..but wait what made you ask this..?
T: Idk..whether I should tell u or not..but the truth is my mother's husband left her because she gave birth to two daughters...so i don't want to go through all that...she said holding back the tears that were forming in her eyes..
K: I won't ever do that to you...i promise...he said...they both stared in for a while...and then came back to their senses...the sat their for a few more mins..and then waved bye to each other and returned back home. The situations at both the places was same...all were excited to know what was their answer..though they too wanted to give them space and time to think..afterall it was a matter of their lives.
Taneja's: As soon as twinkle returned home...mahi n mihika jumped on too her n asked so many questions that confused Twinkle...she straight away went toh her maa mami n mamu...n asked them about how they found Kunj...n the answers were all positive..Leela asked twinkle to take her time if she wants to...but twinkle said maa...its a yes from my side..now u cant wait for them to answer..she said with a contended smile on her face.
Sarna's: When Kunj returned home..he went to Bebbe..n told her that he liked Twinkle...n its a yes from his side...bebbe broke the news to everyone in the house.
Soon the two families got to know about the answers..and they fixed their alliance...their was a lot of excitement in both the houses..each person wanted this wedding to happen soon...afterall it was the much awaited wedding in both families n they did not wish to leave any chance to make it the best moments of their life. Kunj-Twinkle now had an urge to knw each other better...because both knew how much importance they held in each others lives...it was a new chpter for them..a new beginning.
