Butterfly Girl
It was spring once again. The cool breeze of this amazing season enters into their bedroom and touched his innocent face. Kunj woke up with the mild touch of the cool breeze and the first person whom his eyes searched for was Twinkle. He couldn't find her around and suddenly he looked at the garden which was looking like a bed of flowers. Butterflies were flying here and there and he could easily identify her as she was swirling with the butterflies. She was looking like an angel in her mauve pink long dress.
Kunj entered the garden where beautiful pink, purple and white blossoms were showing their blooms. He softly uttered her name .."Twinkle"...
Twinkle turned back and a heavenly smile glittered on her face and spread everywhere.
Kunj: There you are. I must say you are still a child. I noticed you were jumping and swirling with the butterflies like a little girl. I mean who will say you are all grown up.
Twinkle being annoyed by his words said," Oh really. I love spring. These colorful blossoms filled my heart with joy. You wouldn't understand Khadus Sarna.'
Kunj couldn't help but laugh at his wife's innocence. He said, "Twinkle will you allow me to blindfold you?"
Being surprised and curious at the same time she uttered, "You want to blindfold me?"
Kunj: "Yep. So don't you trust me huh?"
Twinkle: "Of course I do trust you with all my heart. Just do it and take me wherever you want to."
Kunj blindfolded her and took her to that place of the garden where the birds were chirping welcoming the spring and butterflies dancing above the daffodils and buttercups. He kneeled down and gently uplifted her left foot into his laps and mildly hooked a beautiful anklet crafted with gemstones onto her ankle. It perfectly fitted in her ankle bone.
Kunj said, "You may remove the blindfold now." Twinkle opened her eyes in wonder and saw the beautiful anklet on her foot. Her foot was still into his laps and with her surprise he placed a soft kiss on her foot and placed it on the ground.
Twinkle became speechless. She just uttered "Kunj." Tear drops were sprinkling into her eyes.
Kunj holding her hands said, "Can I confess something?"
Twinkle: Yes.
Kunj: You are the prettiest girl I have ever seen. I was noticing you swirling and running with the butterflies in joy and thinking even one life is less to adore you, to love you and to be with you. I want to see your face first when the morning comes, when day breaks or night arrives. Will you be mine for the lifetime?
Twinkle with her cherry lips and sunshine eyes said , " You know what the smile on my face only exists because of you. The jingling sound of the anklet will always remind me of you. I just want to be with you forever. "
Embracing her into a tight hug he said, "So my butterfly girl it's time to fly high. Just spread your wings and you will always find me beside you..I love you..."
