I missed some episodes in between so..

Why did RT stay away from his family for so many years?

RT meet with a accident.All thought he was dead.So Leela got his insurance claim money.When RT returned back after the accident to see Leela N Twinkle.He saw the living good.So he thought.If any one find he is alive.The insurance company will ask for money.So for Leela N Twinkle well being he stayed away these many years.

i think bc he wanted to keep leela and twinkle safe from the insurance claim issues

All this time I tot RT stay away cuz of his drinking bad habit and does he have another family and child

Honestly drinking habit reason would have been more strong.

Like even if insurance took away money he did have proof of being severely sick so they won't jail him on those bases then he could have earned for his family.

I thought it was much stronger. Atleast because of the way they shrouded this matter with suspense and mystery😆

He could have atleast contacted Leela, right? Either this is a flimsy soap excuse, or there is more to it. Daal mein kuch kaala ahi

For me also the reason sounded were lame n filmy.I did not buy his story.May be that's the reason.Because he returned the insurance amount i.e 3 crore to the insurance company.

I think it's flimy soap excuse.First I also though Daal mein kuch kaala hai.But after seeing the current episode.I don't think there is more to the story of RT.
