We were shown a Kunj that was self-righteous, respected elders, sympathised, accepted his mistakes, understood people in general terms and was also able to empathise with them.
They are actually many instances where he's done and shown to be all the above, and to be honest he still is. Nothing in and about Kunj has really changed if you give it a thought.
Just that he's not believing in what Twinkle says about Yuvi cannot be taken as a wrong deed or a bad thing. He's just following his heart.
A person who is so co-ordinated with emotions thinks that he's the reason another person's life is messed up and ruined and destroyed and what not. Now tell me, what do you think would be his reaction? Definitely not happy.
Kunj as his character implies is a person who can just feel someone else's pain even though he isn't the one who is suffering or anywhere near to it, and now HE THINKS HE IS THE REASON someone else in is horrendous pain.
And even though that person is Yuvi, his arch enemy, he cannot not just feel responsible. And yes, it's true that he's become blind in order to under what's the obvious, BUT IT IS NOWHERE HIS FAULT.
He's actually doing what his heart says. He's letting his heart take over the situation even when his rational brain would say otherwise.
And the reason should be quite obvious, Anita and Yuvi.
Anita : This woman, thinks that Yuvi is really gone mad. And the emotions she let out were true. She cried in front of Kunj, cursed him, even slapped him because she thought and still thinks that Kunj is the reason behind her son's illness. The pain she felt hit Kunj hard, so even with the proves served to him on a silver platter, Kunj will just not accept it unless he's 100% SURE.
Yuvi : What do I say about this guy? Let's just say for now he's really intelligent, no really, because after failing miserably so many times, he actually caught something spot on. Kunj's Emotions. He knows Kunj's weakness and now he's superbly using and manipulating it according to his need. And he's actually leaving no stone unturned while doing that. He's guilting Kunj further by not acknowledging his own mother, hitting her. So Kunj is actually STILL GUILTY.
MORAL OF THE STORY : Kunj, as a character hadn't regressed at all, but when it comes to 'Yuvi', he doesn't want to listen to Twinkle because of his own reasons.
Kunj is neither Dumb nor he's a whimp or stupid or an idiot, he's just doing what he feels is right.
When a person thinks that another persons life is ruined because of him, the behaviour definitely takes a 360 turn.
I, for one, think that what the CV's did with Kunj's character is spot on because even though he's being unfair to Twinkle, he is doing what a guilty person would do until the guilt is proven wrong.
P.S : This post wasn't meant to offend anyone, if it did, I apologise. It wasn't my intention.
P.P.S : I just think people should cut some slack to Kunj coz what he is doing is actually justified on his part.
