For a reel sequence recently, actress Jasmine Bhasin asked Vaishnavi Macdonald, who plays her on-screen mother in Tashn-e-Ishq, to slap her.The track was such that Vaishnavi had to slap Jasmine hard as Jasmine's character had hidden the truth about her relationship from her mother. In order to make the impact look real, Jasmine requested the senior actress to slap her hard.
Jasmine told us, "I am passionate about acting and I can always go the extra mile to get the best shot. When I heard about the sequence, I wanted people to feel my character's pain. The shot came out really well and the appreciation from everyone made it worth it. I ensured Vaishnaviji slapped me very hard and the scene was finalized after eight takes. In the process, I got some ten slaps from Vaishnav iji."
