I don't think he is in love with her yet but he is protective of her; He respects women and hates it when others don't; Twinkle is his to be wife that is an added responsibility on him to make sure that she is respected and is safe
Basically he is a good human being
If there is a stone on the road he would pick it up and put it on the side
1. so that no one gets hurt
2. so that no one curses that stone because it is not its fault raaste ka patthar will be on the road we should see and walk but we don;t n then blame the rock
