Biased to iyyer

I am huge follower of tmkoc for past 7 years and used to watch repeat telecast whole day enjoying it as best comedy long running series... but past few days I noticed few things and deeply hurt with the show 1- show has lost its charm and no longer has funny quotient.
2- iyyer babitha divorce has opened many social issue
From initial days iyyer was always mocked by Jethalal even though he is at fault to flirt with neighbour wife but was ignored as it is not disturbing their marital life. This was needed because Jethalal is hero of show. But now a days it has progressed like iyyer has been mocked for his color and a South Indian.

And the show is encouraging this kind of behaviour. But more shocking is chemistry between iyyer and babitha .. I understand she is doesn't encourage physical touch to unknown person but in same track she was comfortable to perform with Jethalal with physical touch. So she is also encouraging person looking black are not good looking ..

I know this is very lengthy post but now a days they are showing iyyer as senseless person just to show Jethalal as Great..

Deeply disappointed with such show who describe their motto as unity, loyalty and blah blah..

Producer is very favouring to babitha, Jethalal and biased to iyyer

Pathetic to watch.. I hate to watch as much as I loved to watch it previously..

I have been a silent reader of this forum for long. I agree with most of the points that is put forth. But this is the first time I noticed iyer bias thread.

Being myself South Indian the way iyer character is been portrayed is a sad state,I always feel they always portray typically where it is in movies or serial,they don't even do little bit of research on it,atleast they could have done is cast some southie actor,there is no chemistry b/w iyer and babita,and to glorify jetha character they always degrade iyer character

I'm not from South India... but yes the way they treat Iyer is absolutely rubbish at times...far too much..

Even more pathetic is Taarak Mehta, mostly a sorted character in the show supports jetha in his wrong deeds and cheap jokes.

We have been discussing the audacity of the show for long time now. Not only Iyyer but how does Jetha treat almost anyone in the society ?

Jetha makes fun of Iyear but there is at least a reason to do so . ( He have crush on Babita ) But what about Bhide ? In the beginning of the show and even for some years Jetha & Mehta were continuously insulting Bhide . And contrary to forum's opinion I never liked those scenes . And many jokes were cracked on Bhide's maharashtra . Asmo have habit of all this it seems .
