I saw Diya Baati posters and also Sandhya Suraj ke kachori wali rehri all over Rajasthan.

Great marketing ploy I suppose though not sure about electronics shop. Too gimmicky that one.

Just noticed-Jethalal ka dhaba is in Gurgaon. Tab toh sach mein popular hai.

I have seen Daya ki chanya choli and ghagra here in USA

I think Gada electronics is just a co incidence. People often name their shop after their surnames. Its in Ahmedabad where Gada surname must be common. Also, the shop looks quite old while TMKOC is running for 7 years only. The original story wise also jetha has a garment shop and not an electronics shop it doesn't seem likely that the shop is inspired by Jethalal's shop.

@ Subha: Sarees and other stuff do get inspired by television. There were series of them during Kyunki or Kahani times where saree brands were named after the characters of these shows.
