I don tknow why everything in GD society is so hyped and why everything is so wide open for everyone.

Firstly, two people live in that flat and while one was sleeping another arranged everything so neatly that it could remain a perfect surprise until the end. Pray tell me how the bedroom surprise was arranged without Babita noticing a bit about it ?

None of this people arrange a separate vacation . Its all in the society only. No going out, no spending time together. Then there is one Jetha who is visibly irritated by this sweet gesture of Iyyer towards his wife. More than that, he is irritated that Babita really wanted to marry Iyyer for inside his small brain he believes it was an accidental marriage.

Iyer was really looking really bad in the flashback.

Iyer could have gifted the ring to babita in his home.Society walon ke saamne itna drama karne ki kya zaroorat thi?🤢There's nothing wrong in having privacy.

Jetha making faces during the whole drama was just 😆.He looked more angry on babita than iyer.😆

And the colony ladies?🤢Tomorrow if someone commits suicide for their beloved,they might expect their husbands also to do the same.🤢

😆 It's a comedy serial! I don't understand why people keep whining about it?! Anytime I drop in this forum to look for any news of a track, all I can see is people criticising it.

Well sure,it is over the top! It is meant to be that kind...sure they show that everything is a society function and not many private moments. But,it is fiction and it is a comedy!!😆

If you don't like it so much,don't watch it! Why keep watching it and criticising it?!

I personally enjoy watching it,..sometimes it gets boring and so I stop watching it then. But I like the society's bonding...the actors are superb! And,most importantly... It is the only clean,comic serial I can watch on Indian television! No scheming or plotting or vamps! It is all funny because of the actors!

Now a days,the news is so full of negativity...serials are epic fails...everything is negative!! Why add to it?! This (as dumb as it might get at times) is a good respite is all!

Its okay to smile and laugh at the over the top things! Don't take it so seriously...not meant to be!😆

Its no more a COMEDY show to begin with and that's why people are whining about it . ITs no more the comedy show we knew atleast 2- 3 years before. Its not the show we loved. So, as a consumer we have the right to complain .

It was never meant to be OTT. If you watch the show in its initial form you will realise how much the show has been modified from the original one. We always appreciate the good things about the show. IMO almost every member have agreed that they watch the show because its clean and its a pure family show but that doesn't mean we can encourage things that are outrageous. Also, some criticisms have reached the makers of the show. For example : MOvie promotions have been reduced, Daya's make up has been reduced, Asit MOdi appearing now and then have been stopped and most importantly the recent track of Bapuji and Jetha is the result of constant criticism against Bapuji's behaviour.

Comedy?

A man mocks and insults his middle aged son all the time

A man comes from Ammmdabad,cons his jijaji and others,takes away their money before getting praises and accolades for it.

A married man flirting with a married woman

A man feeling jealous for no reason when a husband and wife express their love for each other

Everyone interfering in everyone's personal life

An employee's gf coming to the shop and disturbing everyone all the time in spite of being warned again and again not to do so

All of them are imperfect but they pretend to be perfect and keep giving gyans and pravachans

If this is comedy then eh...!😒

If that's what you believe,, then okay! Go ahead and complain! I agree,as a consumer you have a eight to do that. And i hope as consumer you also appreciate if and when you find something worth it! If you think your criticism brought the changes,go for it!

I agree it isn't the best show. And yeah I've watched the previous year's episodes too.

It is one of the longest running shows on Indian TV and I'm sure many people still watch it for the fun! I do,most of the times!

I don't like the flirting with babita bit...I don't appreciate babuji shouting at jetha every time...(although I am told that there used to be quite many such father-son conversations till a few years ago)

Point is,I don't like a few things too. The reality however is,I as you have a choice and a remote! When I don't like something,I don't watch it and switch the channel!

I don't bother with it because it isn't worth! For example,the track where they showed jetha's apparent other wife! I never watched it beyond half an episode and every time the repeat comes,I change the channel! I'm the consumer, so I control what I watch!

Stay happy is my point! =) if TRP gets affected, they'll realise it then too!

If you dislike it so much,why watch it at all?! What's the point?! Doesn't give you any happiness then why waste time?!

Some things aren't all that acceptable,sure! But it is fiction!

As far as I'm concerned,if you really try to figure out about the stories in the real book by tarak Mehta... You'd be shocked further! This is a better adaptation!

Still,something's aren't acceptable but in some place,it might really happen,who knows?! Or,let's accept that this is an exxageration ...so?! If they can bring in laughs,good for you...if not,don't watch it! Simple!

I am sorry but no one has any right to tell me what I should do and what I shouldn't. If I feel like watching the show, I will watch it.If I don't feel like watching it, I won't.

As a viewer of the show and member of this forum, I have full right to express my opinions on the show, whether they're good or bad.Even I can say that if u don't like reading negative comments, u can ignore them.

U love this show,Fantastic! Feel free to make posts praising it.But u can't tell people what they should do and what they shouldn't.
