Champak not once realized his mistake or felt sorry for what he did. No lessons learnt. Apologized to Daya and Tappu only. Everybody is feeding his ego. He must be so happy his adarshwadi Shravan Kumar stopped eating to please him, to see to what extent his son can go just to attune to his whims. What a win Champak. When he said he wanted to and tried to talk to him but his anger came in between, it was actually his ego.

Thats what our culture is. We constantly feed our parents ego no matter how wrong they are sometimes. This is what the serial is showing.

I don't think so. No parent behaves the way champak behaves with his son. When we were kids, our parents would definitely scold us and sometimes even shout at us in front of our friends but after we grow up,parents realize that their behavior towards us should be changed. They do give advices to us no matter how grown up we are but they never shout at us the way champak shouts at jetha.
He treats jetha like a 5 year old kid.He has no respect for his son who literally worships him.
This show is again giving wrong message.🤢

They clearly show us the loopholes in Champak's misguided principles and hyprocricy but yet in the end, it is Jetha's fault as usual. If they want to show Jetha's fault then make it convincing but they always make audience to sympathize with him and still he's wrong in the end. Lol

Who says its our culture ?
Traditionally, when a son becomes the earning member of the family, when he has a family of his own and the father has retired from his job, the son becomes the head of the family and the father guides him in this process. Champak has actually handicapped Jetha and has failed to make his son capable of solving even the minute issues of the family. Jetha is not allowed to speak even in his own marital issues.

The Indian tradition also appreciates in keeping family secrets. The facts that are unpleasant should remain behind the curtains. Here, the whole issue is before the GD society. Privacy is not really a bad thing.

Overall, the show is a big let down to Indian culture.

Champak didn't say sorry to Jetha. He was saying sorry to Daya and Tappu. Then Jetha interrupted by saying that he didn't say sorry to him so just for the sake of it he said sorry.Champak never realized his mistake in all this.
