A father reprimanding his son is fine but what's wrong is his behaviour, the way he does it.

Did he apolozise for taking the matter to this limit ? Did he apologize for insulting Jetha in front of the whole society ? No, he didn't . Its just that he is guilty of Jetha being fasting all the time. He is sorry that his son had to do this much to appease him. He has not realised that he was doing something wrong here. Knowing how great Bapuji's character is he should have apologized the way he did during Tappu's marriage track. He should have openly declared that it was wrong to treat his son this way.

It was the simple thing that Cvs didn't want Bapuji to change. So, we will have such Izaat utaro scenes even in future.

Unfortunately certain things in this show will never change.

1.Jetha flirting with babita

2.Champak insulting Jetha

3.Sundar conning jetha and others and still getting appreciation for that.

For the makers,these things are 'comedy' no matter how unethical they are.
