Popat is unmarried because of his complicated nature. He is not rude because they tease him but he is rude because that's a part of his nature. Besides, all the men tease each other and yet they are friends in need and friends indeed. Despite his nature to provoke a fight he has high regard for Daya bhabi and for other women of the society also.The day Popat's character was introduced Anjali revealed the real problem behind his single status.
Coming to Sundar,he will of course ask to take Daya and Tappu with him but Jetha will stay here to fight his own adversities. Daya obviously will thank veera re for his generosity but will stand with her husband as per her character. When he cons his jijaji, he is by default conning his own sister and his own nephew. I don't think he will do anything more than that. People who are self invited to your house are the first to move away when calamity strikes.
