The show makers always have a few scenes done which they don't play for long time. If you watch it carefully you will realise that the scenes are not connected to any specific track but are general in nature.
These scenes are done so that they can carry an episode if the actor is not around for some unseen circumstances. Ye hai har production house ki kahani.
As for this track, the orginal idea was Sundar only. Later some other lady was also tried and tested. Finally, a junior artist was roped. As per the news Modi also tried some experimental episodes on a handful of audience which obviously was not fruitful. Thus, they had no other option but the close the track abruptly.
Actually they thought people demanded change but still cannot connect what change the audience is demanding. We din't ask them to glorify a superstitious woman like this. We din't ask for stupidity. In fact we have all the time discussed how the celebrations here have budget much more than that of the middle class families.
The track was rather too stupid . A woman in veil will do Samaj seva ? If she is so conscious why come at all ? Why not sent a representative instead ?
Also, Daya knows her mother very well yet she went on with wasting so much of money on her welcome ? Wasn't she actually defying her mother's principles this way ?
She always preach others Maa hamesha kehti hai but her brother Sundar wastes thousand of money when he comes to Mumbai when availing the train service will cost him somewhere around 1500 rupees. She never asks her brother not to waste so much money. Why she ? Her I know it all mother doesn't say it either.
The basic problem with the show is its contradictory approach to all its characters.One cannot be stupid and wise at the same time. If Daya has learnt basic English and etiquette to nab the fraudster then she cannot continue with her Gujarati styled English now. If Daya is a kushal grihini ( a perfect homemaker) then she cannot be shown shouting from the balcony with that horrifying voice. If Jeev Daya ben is a superstitious woman then she cannot be shown as a great samaj sevika now.
The makers need to stick to one ideology first before trying anything else.
