Why I watch this show?

1- there is nothing else to watch at 8.30 ...now that clt20 is going on i watch repeat if got time .
2 - i still like chracters such as champaklal, jetha ,bhide ,babita ,popatlal and some others .

My reasons are also the same. There's no other good show on TV.I can't bear the saas bahu shows so I am bearing this show.

I watch this show, because it doesn't portray vulgar exhibition of any kind of elitist arrogance, whether monetary, educational or societal. Example scientist Iyer is shown to mingle with very poorly educated gujrati businessman Gada.

Beautiful characterisation which stems straight from the heart. All the cast are down to earth and we can relate to each and every individual like our very own.

But inspie of such strong base, nowadays I think the show is not living upto its mark. The main USP of this show COMEDY is not being shown .
1. Sundar's tension with Jhetalal is missing,
2. All the children have grown up especially Gogi, so his innocent childish pranks now becomes unbearable.
3. Long time we have not seen Bhide taking classes and children making fun of him right in the class.
4. Comic track between Natukaka and jhetalal or natukaka and bhaga is missing due to arrival of bawri.
5. Why is Popatlal still unmarried? We can have an additional woman member as Mrs popatlal in the society. so that she goes to buy the vegetables from the bai instead of popatlal, and yes that bhajiwaali bai scene is also not shown nowadays. If we get to see mrs popatlal then over importance given to Daya will be lessened.
6. Why is the Soda drinking scene not shown regularly

I think if CELEBRITIES are going to get importance then it goes against the Soul of the show that is SIMPLICITY So dont give undue importance to film celebrities.

But hey I am still watching this show in spite of all the wrong turns this show is taken, maybe because of in anticipation of good tracks in future.
