No idea...did not read the original book or columns, someone from Gujarat can probably answer it because i think its published in some Gujarati newspaper or magazine...not sure...!!!

as far as i know,in the original Duniya ne Oondha Chasma it is shown that All the members of the GDS have been married and have children

Popatlal is drunk most of the times and beats up his wife very often

I can read Gujarati

All i can say that this show is totally different from original column in Gujarati magazine " Chitralekha " 99 % different only 1 % similarities in some charters names

Original Tarak Mehta is writing This article from more then last 50 years

And still Tapu is child in his writings and still Popatlal is unmarried 😊
