Hey kalyani I really missed u, I agree with u we should love/take care of our things as a family member, But we must respect of other emotions/memory which is connected to things.I think we should give more importance to living things instead of non-living things, whether the things is most loveable for us or someone,
I think we should sell things, if the things became risky for our life or others life.

Point in your words Amitbhai...it's right that our memories are connected but living things are more important.

We can say that Popatlal's over love for his umbrella is sometimes false 😊
