Hi akka, first of all, big jhappis to you sissy. And I'm extremely sorry for your loss. Death is an inevitable part of a man's journey. I just hope your friend rest in peace and you be bestowed with the strength to cope her loss.

And regarding the story, I feel you can pull off any kind of genre. Is your story of Hamlet anywhere related to the Shakespeare? Oh! I just can't digest his stories, they are kind of..umm...pretty much absurd, I would like to say. Btw, any Shakespeare lover here? I would go with the Femme Fatale, mainly intriguied by the concept and synopsis.
Lots of love, to you as well as children,
Nivi

Jappi to you too sis. Yep I agree with you death is inevitable and unbearable too. Thanks dear.

Hamlet... I have used the title dear not the story(though it's not that I remember all of that, I barely remember some scenes since it's been Eleven years.) Hamlet means a small village. I just used it.

And thank you for the suggestion.

Love you,

Kam.

I really do not care which one you post, both are very different and promise to be intriguing (for want of a better word..). I will read but will need time to comment (I find first person POV, especially for mystery stories to be ... a trifle limiting, but that is entirely my inability as you would know, I ramble a lot😆😆😆 - but then you always manage to write beautifully in first person PoV,)

Take time to get over your loss, it is a loss that never goes away, but then you should take your time to grieve - for grief is but a sign of love.

Will wait for your updates.

lots of love,
Nyna

PS - Nivi - Shakespeare was not absurd he was downright boring and a pain in all the wrong places - we hated his plays in school (compulsory for English😡😡 ) but once you are out of school, and no longer forced to read them, you find that they are actually not so bad😉

Nynu darling.. you know how much I missed talking to you.

And congratulations for forbidden memories. Just wanted to read it. Will try to make time for that.

Love you, no better word needed. Take your own time. About POV. I find it easy to put words together you know how much I suck at narrator's POV. Phew it takes more from me. That's what making MBKD impossible for me. Some part of me forcing me quit it and make it as first person POV. But I refuse to quit.

When comes to mystery it's easy to create illusion in narrator's view. But a person like who give away the suspense easily, it's safe to write it in a POV so that I can keep suspense. BTW I love the way you play with words baby.

Grieving, it's been nearly two and half month. I almost spent every minute in grieving. If I spent anymore minutes in grieving I will turn into another women who I hate and don't want to be. Who get angry easily, throw and break things around. Who never worry about the person who she throwed tantrums at. Who take sleeping pills to take away the pain from her heart. I had taken three sleeping pills to get away from the pain in my heart but not to kill myself. It had me to sleep for over three long days. And had me woken up my bladder slapping on my face and an overwhelming sensation to use the restroom. In an hospital, this happened when I fell in depression over my grandfather loss. I don't want to turn up like that again, so I need to distract myself from an excruciating pain in my heart. I'm still grieving at the smell time protecting myself from me.

I second you, though he helped me in getting good sleep. Shakespeare. And I forgot about Hamlet. And not planning on remembering it.

Love you,

Kam.

Can I assume that you hated Shakespeare's novels as much as I do? I had a very hard time because of his novel. We had to enact the 'Cymbeline' for a competition and it was a living nightmare for me.
Oh! It was compulsory for you. We have Gulliver's Travels for the extended reading.
@bold- I don't think so, Nyna. not in this lifetime atleast.
Love,
Nivi

Hi dear...
ok first things first... That initial quote from END OF WATCH triggered a lot of feelings... I hvnt watched the movie u mentioned as such but I came to know about this EOW ritual first through an US show -Elementary. N recently I hv heard few real life EOW audios on youtube ... Hv u heard them?

All of them r sad but sm of them r so hrt wrenching that I was crying miserably as the dispatcher herself started crying... I'm nt easily moved by vids but... those calls... 💔 The way they call him twice or thrice to his walkie talkie.. Then when there is no response from the officer... they say there is no response from that officer announce their death... N then announce the date and time they died saying that was his/her last watch... Then way they "rest easy my friend we have your watch from now..." ??😭 And some code... Which means They wont be returning to their duty again and then they say that their call sign wont be used for anybody else..."Gone but not forgotten.." It's all just too much... 🥺

Anyway, sorry for going away on tangent.. Now coming back to story, I just came to SR forum after a long time n the title instantly caught my fancy... Thriller is my fav genre n thriller with an intense romance mixed is cherry on top! N nw since I hv read the prologue... I'm even more interested... :)

Do keep me posted...

Luv Niki

PS: Who is that Ajmal person u r referring too? Is he a Singer? 🤔
