1. The first thing that I would have removed would definitely be Swara forgiving Ragini after she performed their last rites. That thing was totally unacceptable.

2. I hated the fact that Ragini got away with everything so easily without any punishment of her crime or without any redemption. Especially for the track where she showed her madness over Lakshya when he went to jail due to Sanskar. I hated how she said I can't see anything above Lakshya still got away with it.

3. I would have loved it if they would have shown Dadi being punished for her crimes.

4. I would have loved if Swara wouldn't have left Sanskar. (though it was extremely difficult as Sanskar Lakshya fight was somehow was reason of his disappearance, and leaving her sister in misery to enjoy with her husband would have been the worst thing from Swara's side)

5. Sanskar would n't have let her go. He should have shown that though he loves her to the moon and she is his princess but she belongs to him and he would not give her up.

6. Sanskar wouldn't have said that Swara is planning her marriage with Nikhil.

7. I wish Swara would have been a bit lenient towards Sanskar, just 10 percent of what she has been to Ragini.

8. I wish Sanskar wouldn't have loved her only but made sure that she also reciprocate that love the way he wished to see.

9. I wish Lakshya would have been a bit mature towards a girl's heart. He would have treated Ragini with dignity a girl deserves.

how i wish people.. you all were on team cvs.
by God.. Swaragini would have been best serial ever.

everything has been said so perfectly and beautifully. still gonna my add my more than 2 cents.

Scrapping malkin track and giving Ragini a proper redemption. it still rankles that they simply demolished a character which had potential to be glorious (after Sanskaar ofcourse.)
Ragini made more sense when she was in 'mohabaat buri beemari' mode than when she turned errr positive.

Sanskaar's flashbacks. how he built Karma industries; how he slowly dealt blows and failures to Maheshwari and sons; his bonding with Nakul; his thoughts and mind games.

Slow buildup to the confession part. though extremely precious it was tad too sudden.

Kavya should have never come back. she had such a beautiful graceful exit. why ruin such a lovely character? (ignoring the bad acting and overt touching).

Ragini apologizing to Sanskaar for rape allegation and all and both bonding again. my favourite friendship in the show.

Memory loss track ala my 'One more time' and end the serial with rainbows and sunshine and bubbles and happy endings.
No 'kabka maafi kardiya' ghastly track. if ML swara was bad.. this one takes cake, bakery, baker and his entire khaandaan.

You know I too loved Ragini in that mode she was working brilliant and had a potential. But when they made Ragini positive I felt like they made her a puppet again. She has grown so much from a shy timid girl to a strong girl (though wrong on her beliefs), making her positive that too this way was the worst decision. They could have shown gradual acceptance between Lucky and Ragini with their flaws. While Swara's character was flawed because of her blind ever so forgivable love for her family. Sanskar's for him extream emotions and passion for the girl he loved. Lakshya's for his impulsiveness and near sight. Ragini's character was flawed for her insecurities which was most common and most acceptable. had the shown her insecurities vanishing gradually with love and affection. her becoming a better person with her love it would have been a delight. The way Swara's love made Sanskar a better person without changing his inner self.

I would love to change so many things that perhaps might end up taking multiple posts and a lot of my precious time. So want to make a short list.

1. I wish we had to bear less scenes involving Cavity sticking to our beloved Sunny boy. Those were cringeworthy.🤢 Even I hated the way he was playfully throwing color at her before mandir confession.

2. Desperately wished a peaceful, separate wedding of Swasan.

3.Memory loss track, It would be better if Swara forgot about him altogether. I so wanted Sanskar joining Swara's college or something like that, to make her falling in love with him again.

4. Needless to say that infamous shraddh track and Swara's Parivaar chant😡. And both Swasan's stubborn, hurtful behaviour against each other. (Swara more)

5. Last but not the least poorly ended separation track.

There were many other unwanted dramas and characters I fast forwarded happily. SSK characters were my allergen. How I hated that line during Sanskaar's drunken confession "Woh ek daayan tha '🤢😡 That one word almost ruined one of the most favourites scenes I watched many times.

Also I loved twisted negative Ragini more than 'Positive' Ragini. Former was smart and intriguing, latter was gullible and stupid.

Anyways, that's not all, but enough for today. This thread is ❤️ with all lovely people with their lovelier comments.

That was fun, a few new members, a couple of old faces who were missed and the regulars.

I am sure, if the CVs ever chanced on this thread, they would know where exactly they went wrong, which is - almost everything.

Apart from SwaSan / RagLak and a few lovely scenes and some brilliant dialogues, most of the tracks and the sequences should have been scrapped / revamped.

So in a gist: (no particular order)

Ragini's redemption and her Malkin track

Swara's lack (or much less in quantum) in Sanskaar

Ragini, and to a lesser extent, Dadi and Laksh getting away with their crimes (they were serious ones)

Sanskaar never showing Swara that she had to trust him in a equivalent way and / or she never learning it

The inane mergers with SSK

A little bit more focus on the sisterly track

Swara dancing for Uttara's wedding (I agree, absolutely uncalled for)

Play up the black shades in the characters to achieve a blend of greys, too much of mahaanta versus a whiny obsessive love, or impulsive cousin who never paid the price for his haste and no appreciation for the one who was always wronged - they simply reduced the siblings and couples to unidimensional characters in the end

The bank robbery (more kisses for my CM for not allowing me to watch TV😳)

Ragini and Sanskaar failing to save Swara - singly or together (I hated it)

Kavya track - no sense and very abrupt

ML track

The grand separation track

Laksh staying immature till the last frame

I think I got all of them - so actually the entire SR should have been rewritten - but then it would have been brilliant, simply TV screens on fire every night brilliant. Guess the CVs wanted our TV sets to be safe.

Will be back with a new DOTW tomorrow morning - I have already decided the topic, but if any of you want to contribute, link given in first page.

You are a darling, doing everything to draw us swasanians back to the forum. And I am not surprised to see some of the long time absentees back...Shru, viji, nimmi...cause they love u and responded to your call.

I was unaware of all the recent activity at the forum ..some personal commitments...had visited to read new updates of some of the favourite authors. But found it hard to resist posting my views on the topic. So squeezing time cause I too love you...

As u mentioned in your thread I also believe Best of things by Soap Buuble was the most realistic adaption of the plot. It was the way the story could have been. There the repentance was real, the blossoming of love and trust between the couple's were gradual and looked genuine. I wish the story followed the FF.

For me being a romantic person I would love to change the memory loss track. I wouldn't have minded swras khooni jaap if they had showed her contrasting emotions..revulsion to sanskar at the same time magically drawn towards him. They could have utlised swaras stay at MM in a better way .. every small gestures or moments giving her some sparks...hating sanskar but yet yearning to be near him...

Even after her memory gain they could have had some realistic scenes..like how two people in so much love make up for their lost time or could not leave each other for even a minute but the makers ruined everything with saahil kidnapping swara and the dramas following it.

I would have loved to see ragini genuinely feeling apologetic towards swara and sanskar, annapoorna realising swaras worthiness and raginis fakeness, a mind game between sanskar and Ragini, swara displaying more affection to sanskar...and the list goes on and on.

And just read your note...can I give u a suggestion on the topic...I know we all agree on one scene the makers made perfect...Sanskars love confession ..best proposal ever but given a chance how would you rewrite sanskars proposal to swara...

😳😳Well almost all my wishes have been already covered...but still...

1.A proper character of SHEKHAR goddd how I hate him🤢🤢🤢

2.A strong and bold SHARMISHTHA...How can she forgive shekhar??

3. A not so mahan SWARA...I wanted her to be little evil you know and not all that achai ki devi😡😡😡

4.RAGINI'S proper redemption track...her character had so much potential

5.transformation of LAKSH into a mature guy

6.To me my SANSKAR will always be perfect😳...man of my dreams...but stillI wanted him to take SWARA'S intutions a bit seriously

7. RAM'S character yaar😡...they should have shown him a bit bolder...and not bhaisa ka chamcha...I so wanted father-daughter betn him and swara

8.SWASAN'S SEPARATE PROPER MARRAIGE TRACK...with all the functions and sweet sweet romance amid of all😳

9.SANSKAR falling in love with SWARA track could have been more better

10.proper ML track😡...I so wished that SWARA would have forgot SANSKAAR completely...then SANSKAR joining her college😳...or even better SWARA joining SANSKAR'S company as his SECRATERY😳

11.proper reunion of SWASAN after ML track...I so wanted one honeymoon track😳

12.Proper end to SR😭
