I am really feeling terrible about the number of days it's taken for me to unres. Several commitments at work and home, and then the rush of inspiration for OS's which struck me last week, left me with rather less time than I would have liked. 😕
But here I am, to tell you how much I loved the chapter. Hope you will bear with my tardiness.
This chapter was a trilogy of 3 electrically charged, compulsive scenes, just filling me with such adrenaline, and an eagerness to have more of the story.
The first one...the confrontation between Pratula and Suvanna , over the fact that she claims to have brought him a prized weapon...the young prince of the vajras . ...our own gambolling lamb Lakshya 😕 So has Suvanna subsumed Ragini into her own self? Or is it the reverse, has she subsumed herself/ assumed control over Ragini's body? If they still exist as 2 physical beings with a shared consciousness, Suvanna able to sense what Ragu is thinking and influence her...where is Ragini now (physically I mean).
Pratula is in running, along with Shekar in the serial, for being the worst father in the universe. So much hatred and contempt . ...and the relationship between him and Suvanna is so dysfunctional. Suvanna too, I think, while she was earlier motivated by the desperate desire to earn her father's love and approval; now feels disdain and hatred for her father. It's a complicated, primeval emotion. She now seems to be driven by the desire to vindicate herself, an ego tussle almost, with her coldly contemptuous , horribly callous father.
So lucky is so much under her control, he even suits his wrist. Would have cut his throat had she asked. 😕🤢 So that is how he would become a weapon against Yuvraaj Sanskaar 😡🤢
The next amazing scene was between an injured Sanskaar and a concerned, quasi resentful Swara having a sort of heart versus mind, training versus instinct battle, was awesome !!! 👏👏
So Sanskaar cannot think of her impersonally as "the eye" anymore. 😊😉 She has a definite identity in his eyes...he cannot but help feel concern, affection, loyalty and a considerable attraction and involvement towards Swara. And she...she cannot but help feel pulled towards him, despite all of Mohan's training. Sanskaar himself wants her to leave, asks Agni to take her to the Naga camp. But Swara refuses to leave. 😊 She pretends to decline owing to her feeling that the arrangement is a ruse. 😆 But it's very clear she's declining because she wants to be by his side. 😉😳
So the Vajra city has closed its doors to them? By whose orders? How did Annapurna and Aryaman manage to stage that coup? Wonder how they brainwashed and influenced the loyal ministers of the governing council?
Sanskaar is hurt...and the bullet seems to have spread some kind of toxin that is affecting and curtailing his powers. Drat that Rishi Agarwal !!! Hunting elves . ...I hope he gets his just desserts!!
I loved that Swara recognizes all the tantalizing, soothing, beautiful dreams she had with the handsome green eyed stranger...whom she now knows to be the Yuvraaj Sanskaar. Who is the enigmatic S Maheshwari, who was so concerned and protective of her. Nice beginning to the Eye and the Oneiro opening up to each other and slowly coming together.
The last scene...I presume Swara could see/ sense that meeting between Rishi and that mysterious woman? There seems to be a plot between the two of them, a most conniving and machiavellian one. 🤢😡 Is this woman Annapurna? She seems to say that Rishi is a long term associate of hers, and removed a person from the scene, who threatened her position. So does that mean Shomi? Annapurna resented/ hated Shomi for some reason? Does Mohan know about this?
God how I hate Rishi. He, Pratula and Shekar of the serial. All are worthless dads . 😕🤢
Swara could see this conversation happening in her trance...but then someone sees or senses them? The one who remarks in the end. Trouble ahead, I guess. 😲
