For me, the best thing about this episode was the return of the original Sanskar Maheshwari; the real Sanskar who had been a silent spectator for so long (thanks CVs). The man I saw today, this is the man who I continued watching the show for when I had come so close to quitting because I couldn't connect with Swalak and the story in the initial episodes. Then "dead" Sanskar started getting name dropped by the family especially Lakshya so I knew he would be the other male lead and bam crazy Sanskar shows up and I was sold.
This is Sanskar in his element; the take charge, action oriented, go getter. When push comes to shove the man who stands his ground, and a focused fighter. I have waited so long to see the return of the character that kept me glued to a show that didn't have much else going for it. A show that otherwise I would have never watched in my lifetime.
Unlike most people, I was excited for the addition of Sahil. I did not mind him at all just because I knew it would mean that the highly intelligent, cunning, overly protective Sanskar would come to the forefront. Which is exactly what we saw in Monday's episode. I would have loved to see both men playing games and trying to one up each other. It would make for an exciting TV viewing experience. Obsessive Sahil against equally possessive Sanskar Maheshwari is better than kitchen politics any day.
So can we please continue having the old, original Sanskar Maheshwari?
