Dear Shru❤️,

I have been in two minds regarding the new avatar of Sanskaar as 'Kissan' right from the moment the news has been floating in the forum. That picture of VK with that hair had me laughing while cringing. Really mixed reactions on this 'Kissan' track. So this MS(Mini-shot) was sort of like - Okay, maybe it won't be so bad.

I loved this OS because of how you have put forth the possible thoughts going through Swara's head, because really she definitely does go running 'Sahil! Khooni! Bachao!' I liked how everything was so logical and so very SWARA. Really liked how she wants to know WHY? Why would her own husband want to kill her. I loved the confusion in her head and more importantly the conflict between her head and her heart. It is such a beautiful description of how she must be feeling - her helplessness and pain. 👏

I want to hug for the fact that she realised that Kissan was Sanskaar at first glance itself. My eyes actually grew wide at this interesting possibility. It just went to show how she can realise and find Sanskaar just about anywhere. Loved the description of Sanskaar as Kissan too. That too wide grin, and the village bumpkin description🤣🤣.

Thank you for not making her scream. The intensity of this slip, fall and catch was bang on! Indeed it has started...😆

Will you be writing more on this memory loss track? or planning a break after the wonderful Dark Knight? Please do write more.

Sorry for replying so late..
You showed so very fell that inspire of her forgetting everything..she remember just one face that of Sanskar..a negative version yes..but only him..
The confusion she is having regarding him I think would be cleared of very easily if she once with cool mind tries and talk with him..but how can she be calm really..You have shown this so very beautifully that inspire of all the confusion and turmoid..what about the feelings she is having in her heart regarding him..
And the scenes where she collides with him and immediately knows its Sanskar..gosh I so love their cosmic connection..it would never lie..her heartbeats,the warmth everything indicates of the love between them..which Swara is yet to realize..she cannot see his eyes but she is still able to read him so well..I was really confused about this Kissan track..
But your os has eased out some of the confusion I had regarding it..after everything I know it will only Sanskar who will make remember everything and make her fall for him again..
Again an amazing piece of writing from u..

Loved this OS and it quite makes up for the horror unleashed by that video of Rockstar Kissan (I wished I was dead after I watched that - somethings just cannot be unseen)🤢

I am sorry for the delayed response, been stuck at Court all week. Really pleased you liked this and found the description of the angst Swara should be feeling realistic and accurate. That is how I see it and it's a shame we get to see none of this on the show 😡. They could have played this section of the track out so beautifully but let me not dwell on that. To me, Kissan is much needed relief from that torture. Yes, his first look was shocking but personally it is so far removed from Sanskaar and Varun himself there is a hilarity in the ridiculousness to me 😆 and seriously kudos to the way Varun is already buying into a character that is so so the opposite of him in every sense 😆. Thanks very much for your appreciation of this rather hastily penned little piece!

Haha, I just relied to Nyna above on the same point. Yes, that look was totally crazy and I literally cried laughing as Varun's portrayal of that mad dance! Such a sophisticated guy doing this 😲😆. But hats off to him for being such a true actor, he even embraced that. There was a brief exchange with Dhanya (Varun's wife) on this and she said the same- that he really pulled it off despite the whole ridiculousness of it. To be honest, I didn't want a disguised look at all ut if they are going to give one, this is so far fetched in the craziness of that whole irrationality it sort of works better than something restrained 😆.

If this very humble offering made you slightly change your mind, I am honoured! I really dislike the CVs lack of analysis for Swara- this is a recurrent theme throughout the show I feel. To me, Swara's perspective here can be very well justified and explainable but they just don't do subtle! I have always been able to see more in Swara than they ever show us.

Lanny and I had both had the same idea in different scenarios- that Swara should be able to spot Sanskaar in any disguise, they have that amazing soul connect and I knew we will never get that on the show so this was an enactment of my fantasy there. Glad you liked and it made you laugh. The village bumpkin bit I really enjoyed too 😆.

In terms of writing on ML- I have literally just had some ideas for a new story where there will be a ML angle but it is TOTALLY unlike the show. So like DK a total alternative take but a setting and theme as different from DK as can be 😉😆. I am rather busy at the moment so need to find time to actually write but let's see! Hope you will read if I do write!

Thanks so much for this! I very recently replied to your lovely sets of comments on the DK thread too 😳😊. Please don't say sorry, you are not late at all.

I so see that as the gist of this. It can be so beautifully explained to Swara that how come she clings to that one memory of Sanskaar only in a sea of confused angst? And then gradually show her the other part of that - that the intended recipient of that gunshot was not her. She doesn't have a wound, and yes she might think he missed but she saw blood spurt on her face etc etc and why on earth would he do all this, etc? I.e. a lot of logic our shows never explore. I am a huge fan of that cosmic connection but in a fundamental way of true love and not with flying duppatas and the rest which I personally find rather cliched in each show. I know this will never come true in the show but I do hope they show that she has that instant connect with Kissan despite his strange appearance as after all she will in some distant corner recognise her Sanskaar in there even if she won't know this. I just want Kissan to be her bridge back to what really always mattered- her and Sanskaar 😃.
