Rasogullas - my favourite too. I spent quite some years in Jamshedpur, with is about a 4 hour journey from Kolkata and has a very strong bengali influence, some of my very good friends are bengalis too. So I am quite exposed to the the bangla culture and cuisine. There is a sweets shop chain - North Bengal Sweets - and the rasogullas are to die for. In fact, I do not eat rasogullas anywhere else, if I can help it, they just do not taste the same. I am so in love with them, that I have tried to make them at home and actually they taste better than the some of the ones we get. Guess, as long it is not the North Bengal Sweets Shop rasogullas, my rasogullas taste okay.😉 But I love them nice and cold.

RagLak part was nice.😊 SanLak's bet and teasing Ragini.😆 Ragini was not so much bad at cooking.😉 Again one of my favorite dish, 'Cholar Dal'.😃

Yes, Ragini was not so bad a cook and she did have a nice revenge, ensuring that either Sanskaar or Lakshya won the bets😉 Cholar dal and hot rice - close to heaven, right?

SwaSan moments were so sweet.😳 Sanskar fulfilled Swara demands and even fulfilled those thing which she didn't ask for.😉 So much that Sujju rechristened him as 'Goolu ka Gulam'!!😆

Sanskaar loves Swara so much, that he would move heavens for her and then not even care what the world calls him. So obviously Sujata could not resist teasing him as Goolu ka Ghulam - poor Swara was embarrassed😳
Finally AP accepted Ragini wholeheartedly.😃

Yes she realised that they both spoke the same language - though a little differently.
Mrs. Das and Dadi's cooking battles were hilarious!!!😆

Two old ladies, both great cooks and lots of time on their hands - so battles are a given and nobody must have actually minded, not with the delicacies they get to eat😉 For all we know, if we manage to visit them, they might make you a judge and stuff you too😃

Finally Shomi was happy and content in life coz her daughters- SwaRagini were happy with their life and she got her 'Maa' in Mrs. Das. Shekhar-Shomi both were happy.😃

Yes, Shomi has her daughters back, happily married, adorable sons in law, a surrogate mother - absolutely content and happy

First things first - Cardinal rule of Sunny boy -no thanks and no sorry. But then I loved it that you loved my story - as I mentioned in the foreword - I needed a fix (from the desperation of the then SR track) and this was my way out. And there is no way this would be anything other than sugar and candy floss - I was drunk on coffee and chocolate when I drafted this tale. And this is for you:

A beautiful, well rounded ending to a beautiful story. It is so satisfying to see all of them so happy & well settled in their lives. I loved that bit about Sujju not even being satisfied when she saw her own kids for the first time 🤣 It was so easy to imagine Sujju crib about a red faced Sunny & a too tiny Uttara 🤣 You have got a real talent of keeping everyone true to character😳 So while Swara impresses with Rashogullas Ragini impresses her Saas with bhajans on a guitar😆 Wah Wah😆👏 I was so happy to see Mrs. Das settling in the baadi. She will no longer be alone, the girls whom she welcomed into her life & protected against their own foolishness gave her her own family in return. It feels good to see good things happening to good people😳

Guess the epilogue lives up to its title - Just Desserts (in both the literal and the figurative "Just Deserts" which is the correct spelling😊). It had to be a happy ending, all of them did suffer way beyond what their actions deemed appropriate. And given Sujata's characterisation of not liking anything at first sight, it is natural that she would not have liked her own kids (which BTW I feel is quite honest on her part, most newborn kids are like red skinned rats or monkeys, their human features develop only a couple of weeks later😆). Swara and Ragini really hit the nail when it came to impressing their MILs - all the more admirable for it was quite unintentional, they did what they could do best.

Mrs. Das finally found her peace and her granddaughters - I myself liked writing it out - it is said that the good you do comes back to you - and in her case, her one act of kindness gave her a full family, which she more than deserved.

I think I have mentioned this before but all that trivia you insert in your chapters deserves a special mention as we come to the end of this story. I absolutely love those bits & pieces of information you include in your stories.

That is partly the 'show -off' me, I collect quotes, trivia and adages, and keep sprouting them in my conversations. There was no way I could resist sprinkling them here. But then when a reader actually reads and then appreciates them I am overwhelmed.❤️.❤️

I had seen you reserve nearly 2-3 pages a few weeks ago for another story. Is that one coming up soon? Did you finally decide on the story line? Do PM me once you start updating that one😳

It would be an AU again, with very few similarities to the serial and would revolve around ML - I have finalised the name (which is why I reserved, I was actually scared that maybe someone would already write one with that name - though now I think no one can be as crazy as me😊)done 50% of the draft.
