You gave a very logical flow to this. Lakshya and Sanskaar were supposed to get married at the same mandap, and Lakshya, being very close to Sanskaar, did not want to get married right then when Sanskaar's fiance had so cruelly deserted him.

So this plan came up, that Ragini's cousin (Swara) should marry his cousin. 😉 Smart thought by Lakshya, and music to the ears of all SwaSan fans. Of course, Ragini, Annapurna and Shekar were only too interested in the alliance, and though Sharmishta and Durga Prasad gave the discretion to Swara, they also were in favor since they had heard very good reports about Sanskaar.

I liked how you have given a different spin to the family tree here. Durga Prasad and Annapurna are Ragini's parents. 😊 Shekar and Sharmishta are parents of just Swara, no half sister complications, thank God.

Lakshya was so cunning in a sense, he convinced Sanskaar for the marriage saying Swara had agreed, and then when he told Swara's family that Sanskaar had agreed, then Ragini, Annapurna and Sharmishta ( as well as Shekar) said that Swara now would have to agree, to ensure Ragini's marriage did not get derailed.

Shekar appears to be quite a bad father here too. 😉 Durga Prasad seems a more fatherly figure to Swara rather than her own father.

So now both Swara and Sanskaar are aware of the truth of their wedding, which is a very good thing. Sanskaar would no longer doubt Swara's intentions, whether she agreed to marry him for his wealth. And Swara would not feel angry at Sanskaar anymore, thinking that he played a role in coercing her into this marriage. She now knows he was equally coerced. 😆

So with all MU out of the way, they can start working on building their relationship based on trust and understanding. ❤️

Firstly thanks once again for clearing the suspense.

You, my love, have given an entirely new family tree. Ragini and Swara are cousins not half sisters there by no sibling rivalry. DP and AP are Ragini's parents and Sharmishta's brother. Adarsh and Pari are Swara's sister and Jiju. Wow!!!

So Swara agreed to marry Sanskar as she was informed that he agreed to marry her and her request to speak with him before marriage was refused. Sanskar on the other hand was mislead by Laksh ji that she agreed to marry him. Poor Swasan. 😉

Ragini was also emotionally blackmailing Swara along with the rest of the family to say "Yes". Shekar well no comments on him. Durga Prasad seems to be the only one who realised that they were forcing Swara for their daughter's happiness.

Since the MU is cleared. I hope now they can start working on their relationship. They could become friends and try to get to know each other, one step at a time.

I can't wait to see when Swasan will finally confront Laksh.

Loved the flow of events. Now I'm eagerly waiting for your update on chapter 3.

I should really apologise - am simply bogged down with work and had such a backlog of 'res' (still have a couple more😭) that I wanted to comment without 'res' which unfortunately is only today. But then better late than never.

You had me at the title - how did someone force Swara and Sanskaar to get married and wow, you did resolve that marvellously. So it was Lakshya's gameplan (surprising that he has the brains to carry it out though his intentions were a little selfish, but hey, no complaints, we get SwaSan😉) The MU resolution between Swara and Sanskaar is done neatly, and nothing can kickstart a friendship as having a common ''enemy' does. No comments on Sekhar (From now I am going to ignore his existance😡)

The twist on the relations was nice - no complicated half sisters, relations who hardly seem to get a word in (Adarsh and Pari) and the best of all - no Kavitha angle (smooth end to that one👏).

It is a great one, eagerly awaiting your updates, and yes please do pm me (I would be busy with work - March madness is a known phenomenon in the finance world - but I will read and comment as soon as I can steal time from work 😆)
