Hey Saku...

What a lovely introduction to some very fascinating characters indeed: Ananya Sanskaar Maheshwari, Aradhya Roy, and of course, we get re introduced to the teen version of the highly interesting Ansh Sanskaar Maheshwari, who we've seen before as a cute & cuddly 8 month old, and also a chubby, sweet, but very determined and intense 5 year old! 😊

Ansh, I dare say, combines not only the determination and resolve of both his parents, especially of his formidable father, but also seems to have inherited a fair degree of their--shall we say stubbornness? Adamant nature? And perhaps taken it a wee bit further...

I would say both Sanskaar and Swara's grit and resolve was focused and shaped by the pain they each underwent from an early age, in a sense, the deprivation they endured despite being supposedly in the lap of material comforts. Probably Ansh has been the adored first born and elder brother, with attention and adoration being lavished on him...Plus Sanskaar, I guess, has done so much to be the best possible parent he possibly could, might it be that Ansh is a wee bit more headstrong, getting away with behavior he perhaps ought not to? 😊 Not sure...I will wait and see for further shots before making further guesses!

There is certainly a crackling shower of sparks whenever Ansh crosses paths with Aradhya, huh? 😆 I guess part of the antagonism stems from the fact that they are both extremely strong willed, like getting into arguments, and possibly secretly enjoy the barbs they trade? Sanskaar might well think that Aradhya hardly conforms to his idea of what girls his age whould behave like---more demure and easygoing perhaps? But had she been that way, he would not have been so interested in bandying words with her in the first place, would he? 😉 😆

Something about her certainly rubs him the wrong way...But there is definitely something else there too. When he encounters Aradhya and Ananya having fallen down in the mishap on their scooty, he is of course, massively concerned for his sister, and furious with Aradhya. But he is, despite all outward signs, worried for her as well. He doesn't stop with just cursing her out for endangering his kid sis (BTW, I loved it that he calls Ananya "Doll", just as Sanskaar used to call Uttara)...He does express anger at Aradhya for endangering her own safety and well being, too. (Though he phrases it in anger, asking her to think what her parents would feel). From the exchange, I gather Aradhya's Mom is no more, and possibly her father has remarried? (There is a reference to parents in plural, even though the indication is that her Mom is no longer alive).

And just as Swara's tears disarmed Sanskaar, made him feel far more pain than he could bear, Aradhya's tears seem to affect Ansh, don't they? Not to the same extent, definitely, since he hasn't developed that connect with her (yet), which his parents always had as childhood friends. But there's something there nevertheless, more complex and complicated than just enmity. 😉

And oh yes, Aradhya definitely has a semi crush at least on Ansh. She certainly has noticed that he has a fine nose, and his features are well defined too. 😆 Not to mention, that it does bother her to think he has made up his mind about her, and would always hate her/ think the worst of her. 😉

Ananya seems like a cute darling. Amalgam of both her parents huh? Must be a beauty! 😆

Loved it dear, will the next one pick up from where this left off? Or will it be set at a different point in time?
