Happy Holi to you and family, my dear!

Sorry I am updating my comment late, but I have been rather unwell last several days.

Coming to the update, it was so electrifying and the SwaSan moments were simply blush inducing! 😳 ☺️ Swara getting completely enraptured seeing Sanskaar swimming in the private pond, only in his innerwear...😉 😳 Kinda reminded me of the sequence in Jodha Akbar, when Jodha watches a muscular Akbar practicing swordfighting. 😉 😆

Swara was really enjoying the sight. 😳 And then Sanskaar, after drying himself and tying thr towel around his waist, saw her form moving away as she tried to dash back inside the home! Thinking she was a burglar he caught hold of her and pinned her to the wall...and the two of them were just lost in each others eyes, in their proximity...😳 I was almost expecting a sensuous, electrifying kiss at this juncture, but Sanskaar somehow controlled himself! 😆

And then, the next morning...uh oh! Problem in Paradise...we have a kabab mein haddi who has just dropped in. Manjusha...who was selected by Sanskaar's late Dad, as the girl he wanted Sanskaar to marry. So she is the daughter of Sanskaar's father's close friend, but Sanskaar himself was not told about this decision until very recently. He seemed OK with the match though, but that was before he met Swara...Wonder how he would handle the situation now. Would he tell Manjusha that he does not think of her as his future bride?

Poor Swara was so heartbroken. That scene with Ragini was well portrayed...where Ragini excitedly says that Manjusha is her BFF, and she is so excited their her elder bro is going to marry her; that Sanskaar himself is quite happy with the match...Swara almost broke down, because she has really fallen for Sanskaar. Felt so bad for her.

Update soon, my dear! Waiting so eagerly! And update Zinda Rehti Hai...also!

PART 7

Swara's eyes searched for Sanskaar and he saw him sitting at the dining table and was chatting with Manjusha.

Unable to digest all these, she pulled her Amma by her hand.
Sw: Amma. Let's go.

Sha: Ok then, See you Annapurna. We are leaving.

An: But Chinnu, you didn't have your tea.
Sw: I will come some other day, Aunty

And Sharmishta got up to leave.

Sanskaar was intently staring at Swara who seemed to be in a hurry to go. He hoped that she would say "Bye " to him. But he was surprised that she didn't pay any attention towards his side. As he watched the retreating figures of Sharmishta Amma and Swara a feel of sadness spread inside him. Just then Manjusha nudged Sanskaar with her elbow and he came back to his senses.

Ma: What are you thinking about, Sanskaar.. ?
Sa: (shakes his head and smiles) Nothing Manju. I was just watching them go.

Ma: Sanskaar... I think I will also go now. If you have finished having your tea and breakfast, shall you drop me at the bus stop.
Sa: Why not..? Let me wash my hands. I am also leaving for my shop.

Sharmishta and Swara had just reached their home when Swara heard the familiar sound of Sanskaar's motorbike. Excitedly she turned to see him again, but she was not at all prepared for what she saw. Manjusha was sitting behind Sanskaar on the bike. Swara's heart shattered again into a million pieces as she watched them go together.

Sharmishta also saw them going and she said happily,

Sha: Nice pair, aren't they. ?
Sw: Hmm..

Swara nodded her head in assent as she fought back her tears with great difficulty.

She thought, "Stop being silly, Swara. Sanskaar's engagement is on next Sunday. You need to remove such thoughts from your mind before that. "

That night, Sanskaar was lying on his bed in deep thought. He had been trying to sleep for a few minutes. But whenever he tried to close his eyes, the moments which he had spent with Swara would pop up in his mind's eye. It was like this the whole day also. Even at the super market, he kept thinking about her again and again.

He thought now, " Am I falling in love with Swara.. ? But how can I love her.. ? Next Sunday, I will be getting engaged to Manju.. But I never have thought about Manjusha in this way..! "

He tried to remember the day when all this started.

*********************FLASHBACK*******************
One month ago

Sanskaar had just arrived back from his shop in the evening. He was surprised to see Dr. Sreedharan Menon in the sitting room, talking with Annapurna. Sreedharan and his family had been their neighbours for many years. He was Durgaprasad's best friend and his only daughter, Manjusha was Ragini's best friend since childhood.

Sanskaar was only three years older than Manjusha and Ragini. And sometimes he also used to play with them. But then, three years ago, his family had shifted to a new house situated in the town area. Since then, they had met each other only at few occasions.

Sa:(smiles widely) Uncle, how are you... ?
Annapurna smiled at Sanskaar and asked him to sit down.

S.D: (smiles) I am fine Sanskaar, I came to see you. I was waiting for you to come back.

Sa: What happened. ? Is there anything which I can do for you, uncle. ?
S.D: Of course. It's a marriage proposal for you. !

Sanskaar was surprised and he laughed softly.
Sa: No No. I am not planning to marry yet. First of all I have to find a good alliance for Ragini. She is 25 years old and I am searching for a matching groom for her.

S.D: It's your father Durgaprasad's wish, my dear.
Sa: (surprised) Really.. ? What are you trying to say. ?

S.D: You know that he died when you were only six years old. Before that, when Manjusha was born, he told me his wish. He wanted you to marry my daughter, Sanskaar. Moreover, our family astrologer have predicted that this is the right time for her marriage and he advised us not to delay her marriage. That is why I am rushing this proposal.
Sa: (shocked) Manju and me.. ?? What are you saying Uncle?? She is just like Ragini for me -- a younger sister.

S.D: But this was your father's wish, Sanskaar, and I had given my word to him ! You can ask Annapurna. She also knows about this.

Sa: But I can't marry her. I have never thought about Manju in that way.

S.D: But she agreed to this proposal when I asked her. She likes you, Sanskaar. !

Sanskaar was at a loss for words. He couldn't believe his ears. He looked at Annapurna and she was smiling in approval. His head was reeling with all this new revelations. He thought for some time and then glanced at Doctor uncle.

Sa: (seriously) Uncle, I will think about this proposal. But please give me this night to decide. I will let you know, tomorrow.
S.D: Ok then.

After Sreedharan left, Sanskaar turned towards Annapurna. She sat down beside him.

An: It was your Achan's wish (Achan means father). Please don't say "No" to this proposal. We all know Manju from childhood. She is a really nice girl.

Sa: But Amma... She is like a sister for me. !
An: But she likes to marry you. Doctor uncle was saying that he had already talked with her.

Sa: Hmmph.. I need to talk to her.

He went straight to his room and dialed her number in his mobile. She answered the call.

Ma: Hello.. Sanskaar..

Her tone was new for him. He could feel her blushing. He felt as if he was talking to a complete stranger.

Sa: Errr.. Manju.
Ma: Tell me, Sanskaar.. Did you talk with my Achan?

Sa: Yes, he came here to talk with me and he told that you agreed to this proposal. !

Ma:(fell silent for some seconds) . . . Yes!! (and was silent again)

Sanskaar knew that she was expecting the same response from him. He composed himself and tried to smile and be happy.

Sa: Manju. How are you. ?
Ma: I am fine, Sanskaar.

Sa: What are you doing. ? Are you working or still studying. ?
Ma: Sanskaar, I am running a Dance School in the town.. I am a Dance teacher.. Classical Dance..Mohiniyattam, Bharathnatyam and all..

Sa:(smiles) That's nice.. You dance really well. I have seen you perform..I know.
Ma: How is your business going on, Sanskaar. ?

Sa: It's going on fine. Ok then... I will call you later... Bye... Goodnight.
Ma: Goodnight, Sanskaar.

And then he disconnected the call. He was not at all feeling right. He felt a strange sort of suffocation, a feeling that all that is happening is really wrong. But then he had to take a decision.

Next morning, he told "Yes" for this marriage alliance.

He didn't telephone Manjusha after that day. But still she had called him up two three times, but their conversations had been merely friendly ones.

Sanskaar remembered the way he had felt when Swara had almost hugged him in the queue at the temple. He was amazed at the way he simply lost his control whenever she was around.

He got up from his bed, and walked towards the window. He gazed out at her house from the first floor window. The thought of her sleeping serenely in her bed made him smile. "She is so unique.. I have never met anyone like her.. There is something about her. She looks like a goddess when she smiles. "

But then reality struck him again. His marriage is fixed with Manjusha. He shut his eyes tightly in order to compose himself.
He thought again, "I need to forget these thoughts about Swara. Manju is going to be my bride soon. "

The week passed without any further encounters with Sanskaar, since Swara avoided going to his home. But even though she succeeded in avoiding meeting him again, her mind simply refused to stop thinking about him. He would visit her dreams every night and she would wake up in the mornings only to feel disheartened again.

Much to her displeasure, Sunday arrived pretty soon, and she still hadn't got over her heartbreak. She woke up in the morning with a heavy heart. The Engagement function was supposed to be held at the Bride's residence.

Sha: Swara, get ready fast. We need to go with Sanskaar's family for the function. What are you planning to wear. ?

Swara looked at the excited face of her mother. She had half mind to tell her that she is not going to attend the function. But she knew that her Amma wished to take her to the function.

Sw: I don't know Amma. You suggest something.
Sha: Hmm... I knew it that you won't have any idea.. So here is a surprise for my little one.

She handed her a packet, which she had been hiding behind. Swara opened the packet and saw that it was a beautiful white and gold saree (Traditional Kerala saree) with a matching red color blouse. She looked at her mother with tearful eyes and Sharmishta was looking at her expectantly, waiting for her to say something. Swara smiled widely and hugged her Amma with all her love.

Sw: Its lovely, Amma. I love you..
Sha: (smiles) I love you too my dear. Now you freshen up and wear this.

Swara was looking damn pretty in that outfit. When she came out after dressing up, Sharmishta adorned her hair with jasmine flower strings.
Sha: Now let us go to Annapurna's home and join them to go to function.
Sanskaar's home was full of relatives who had come to attend the ceremony. Swara and Sharmishta walked among crowded corridor and Swara's eyes were searching for Sanskaar.

Swara and Sharmishta met Annapurna downstairs. She pinched Swara's cheeks and smiled widely.

An: Chinnu... You are looking gorgeous in this traditional outfit.
Sw: Thanks Aunty. (smiles) Where is Ragini. ?

An: I don't know.. Might be in her room.. I haven't seen her downstairs.
Sw: Ok. Let me go and check.

Swara left from the crowded area and she approached the staircase and climbed it. Just as she was about to reach the door to Sanskaar's room, she heard his voice.

Sa: Who is there.. ? Is it you, Ragini..Can you please help me..!'

Swara felt hesitant, but still she peeped inside his room. She saw that he was struggling with his Kurta, whose neck was stuck around his forehead. He was in his mundu (dhoti )and his vest.

Sa: (trying to pull it down) Urrrgh...

Swara went inside the room and near him, hesitantly. She noticed that the button was not opened. She opened it with fumbling hands and then only he could successfully pull it down his head.

Sa: Thank God.. !!
Laughing hard he looked at her and his eyes widened abruptly when he saw that it was her. He thought "God... !! She is looking so beautiful. !"

Sa: Swaraaa. !!

For a moment he thought as if he was dreaming. Because the way she was looking at him, gave him a feeling that she had longed to see him again. He too had pined to get a glimpse of her all the past week. He noticed that her beautiful eyes were slowly filling with tears. He could feel that her eyes were trying to say "Don't do this, Sanskaar. Please don't leave me. " He gasped at the thought and looked away from her face. He was not prepared for this guilty feeling which bubbled inside him.

Swara looked down and let out a deep sigh. Quickly wiping her tears she walked out of the room. Once out of his view, she covered her face with her palms and broke down into tears. Sanskaar wanted to call out for her, but he was not sure of her feelings because she didn't say anything. Suddenly he felt wetness on his cheeks and when he touched it he realized that it was tears trickling down. A deep sigh and a helpless sob escaped his lips and he fell down on his knees unable to compose himself.

Sa: (loudly) I Love You Swaraaa. !!

Swara had started to walk off from the corridor when she heard it and she stopped in her tracks. She widened her eyes and tried to reason with her whether she heard it right or not. A wide smile blossomed on her lips and she turned and ran towards his room. She stopped at the threshold and gazed at him. Sanskaar was excited beyond limits when he saw her face shining with love. Standing up, he spread his arms wide and his eyes beckoned her to fill inside his embrace. Happily, she moved forward and pressed herself on to his sturdy body and he hugged her petite body with all his love. Closing her eyes, she pressed her cheek on his broad chest and uttered those magic words.

Sw:(softly) I Love You too, Sanskaar..

They felt as if the world had stopped revolving and they were the only people left on it. They stood like that for a long time and they clung onto each other as if their life depended on that hug. Sanskaar didn't want to let go of her, and she didn't want to come out of his cozy embrace. After a while, he voiced his concern.

Sa: Swara... I don't want this engagement.. I love you..

Realization dawned upon her again and she opened her eyes in a jiffy.

Sw: Oh I forgot.. The engagement.. !!

She made a slight movement to break off from the embrace. Sensing it, he pulled her close to him and tightened his grasp around her.

Sa: Please stay right there Swara... Don't leave me ... I can't live without you. !!

Swara blushed crimson and she buried her face into his chest. His masculine scent was driving her crazy.

Soon they could feel that the coziness of their embrace turning on the passionate flames inside their bodies. When she raised her lovely face and looked up at him, she was amazed at the transformation in his expression. His face was burning with desire and his eyes looked at her as if intoxicated. Bending his face closer, he kissed her tear stained cheeks one by one. Swara's grip tightened around him and she closed her eyes feeling blissful. He withdrew his lips and surveyed her gorgeous face. He kissed her closed eyelids one by one and then his eyes fell on her lips which were reddened due to passion. Warm breath was escaping his lips and tickled her petal like lips. She parted her lips and he got the signal. Bending in, he kissed her.

Swara could feel high voltage current coursing through their bodies and she brought her hands behind his neck for support. Sanskaar cupped her tiny face with his huge palms and kept rubbing his thumbs along her cheeks. His mouth ravished her soft lips and his stubble grazed her chin. But she didn't mind. All that mattered to her was that he loved her as much as she loved him.

The kiss lasted for a few minutes and they stopped it when they realized that they couldn't breathe any more. Sanskaar withdrew his lips from hers and he bent his forehead and touched it on to her forehead as they took deep breaths with eyes closed. He was holding her shoulders and her hands were at the sides of his waist.

Suddenly they heard Annapurna's loud voice calling him from the bottom of the stairs.

An: Sanskaar..!! It's time to go.

Feeling alarmed, Sanskaar and Swara opened their eyes and looked at each other. Swara slowly moved away from him and looked at him with helpless eyes. Sanskaar gave her an assuring look and caressed her cheek with his palm.

Sa: Don't worry.. I will handle this..

Lovely update... Swara and sanskaar longing to see each other, but yet not being able to do so...

The flashback, abt manju and sanskaar's forced relation.. I personally dont like this concept of parents fixing their childrens weddings when they are small.. I felt bad for sanskaar, as he was forced to accept this engagement as it was his father's last wish...

Finally the engagement day... And the love confession by both swasan... And then the kiss.. It was lovely... I hope sanskaar manages to set things right and stop his engagement wid manju..
