Sanskar stares bleakly at the file in his hands, reading, Aggravates. Thinking with silent frustration, "I have done everything to stay away from this deal... How the hell is this file in my hands!" His father, oblivious of his emotional uproar, says, "we have lost out on several contracts this year. We need this contract. The last contract you worked with Aadarsh on, we got. Maybe this time too..."

Sanskar looks at his father, reading the worry in his gaze as he battles with his guilt, thinking, "that is because I have taken away the contracts. I am your biggest competitor." Sighing, Sanskar says, "dad, just because Aadarsh and I got the contract last time does not mean that we shall get it this time."

Durga Prasad, who is silently studying the scenario in front of him says, "Sanskar, we have full faith in you and Aadarsh. The last time you two worked as a team, we did not need to reduce our staff. I have full faith that this time too, the both of you will save the company."

Nodding, Sanskar says, "of course. We shall do our best." Turns to Aadarsh and says, "I need to make a call. I shall be right back and we can begin working on this deal." Aadarsh watches Sanskar walk out of the study, turns to his father and says, "dad, why are we not involving Sanskar in all our deals. He has a gift with numbers." Sanskar's father, Ram Prasad says, "yes bhaisaa. We should think of involving Sanskar in all our business dealings. Things are not looking good in the company at present."

Shaking his head, Durga Prasad replies, "let Sanskar be. I don't want him to feel that he has to join the family business. I am sure with time, he will join us. He has always been available when we need him. Let it be as it is." Shaking his head, Ram Prasad says, "I don't understand that boy. He has so much potential, but he just bums around doing nothing. Only helps us when we ask. Maybe this marriage is a good thing. He will settle down."

Durga Prasad watches his brother with a heavy heart, thinking, "I pray that you never find out that Sanskar is responsible for our financial woes." He says, "I don't want the family to know about any of this."

Durga Prasad stares out of the window, totally immersed in his checks and balances... Allowing Sanskar to ruin them and also to assist them when the time was dire. Rubbing his temple, he wonders how long he will have to walk this fine line.

Upstairs, in his room, Sanskar talks to his p.a., "cancel my meeting with Aggravate. Tell them we are no longer interested in doing business with them," he says bitingly. Disconnecting the call, he angrily throws his phone on the bed. Pacing to and fro, he thinks in frustration, "all my hard work wasted." Hearing a knock on the door, he looks up. His father smiling at him, walks into his bedroom and says, "Sanskar, Join the business. We need you." Unable to meet his father's gaze, he looks away, saying, "dad I already have a job." "Bah," his father says, "a glorified secretary for your friend is not a job," frustrated with his son's lack of ambition. Looking around the room, his father asks, "why is this room such a mess?" Shrugging his shoulders, Sanskar replies, "Swara is unpacking." Frowning, Sanskar thinks, "shit did she hear me. It's okay, calm down, I can trust her."

Sharmista hugs her daughter tight, not wanting to let go, the red mark on her maang, clearly stating that her daughter was no longer only hers. Laughing, Swara says, "mum, if you hug me any tighter I shall faint." Pulling away from her mum, she adds, "my God! I was just gone for one night. Less than twenty four hours!" Dida walks in, saying, "wait until you become a mother." Shrieking, Swara says, "no ways," chuckling as she tries to imagine having a child with Sanskar. Looking around the room, she asks, "where is ragini?" Sharmista replies smiling, "she went to the temple with dadi."

Sujata and parineeta walk into the study, each carrying a tray of food. She stops by the door, her gaze beaming with pride as she watches her son do something meaningful for a change, her heart cries out, "oh, how I wish he joins the family business." Clearing her voice, she says chirpily, "Aadarsh. Sanskar. Take a break. Lunch is here."

Smiling Aadarsh, puts the files away as parineeta, his wife serves him his lunch. Sanskar watching them, wonders where Swara is, asks curiously, "where is Swara?" Teasing him, Aadarsh says, "missing the wife, are we?" Sitting up, like a caught rabbit, Sanskar replies, "of course not. I just... I just..." Chuckling at her son's comical reaction, sujata says, "oh, so you don't want your old, frail mother to serve you lunch. Pareenita do you see how the winds have turned."

Placing the tray on the table, she continues dramatically, massaging her legs, she says, "I never thought these poor old bones will be replaced with newer strong bones." His eyes filled with humor, Sanskar stands up, makes his mum sit the chair he was just occupying, goes on his knees, takes over massaging her legs. With a smirk says, "this is how it is done. It is important to put the right pressure." Then adds is a bland voice, "Now don't forget, this is how your poor old bones will massage my wife's newer young bones." Squealing with mock outrage, Sujata mock slaps him as he laughs away, says, "Pareenita, who is this fraud, where is my son." Her eyes brimming with un shed tears she pulls her laughing son towards her, hugging him tight, whispering with an ache in her voice, "I have missed you so much. Welcome back." Chocking with emotions threatening to spiral out of control, realizing the pain he had caused his mother while immersed in his own pain, Sanskar whispers back, "I have missed me too... I am sorry mum." Patting him lightly on his cheek, Sujata just nods, too emotional to say anything, she leaves.

Sharmista frowns at shekhar, her gaze filled with concern, worry, she whispers, "what does it mean... Swara rushing you out so that you don't meet Sanskar." Shekhar replies, "I don't know if it means anything or she was just excited to come home and got carried away."

Smiling Swara looks around her old room, her gaze falls on the bed, her smile falters. Ragini watches, confused over the change in her body language, asks worriedly, "what happened? Why did you stop smiling?" Swara stares at her for several seconds, then replies, "I left my room in a mess. There is clothes everywhere. I was so excited coming home, I forgot." Chuckling she continues gleefully, "oh, Sanskar is going to be so pissed. Good. Serves him right after what he did." Ragini looks at Swara anxiously, replies seriously, "what will the family think of you when they see the mess. This is not good Swara. First impression is the last impression."

Watching Parineeta serve them their lunch, Sanskar leans back on his chair and asks casually, "so where is Swara?" Seeing Parineeta and aadarsh smile at one another, before she can respond, Sanskar hastily adds, "I only ask because I was wondering if she has had lunch." Parineeta and aadarsh both burst out laughing. Taking mercy on him, Parineeta informs him that Swara's father had come to collect Swara, who will spend the day with her family and that later in the day, he is expected to go pick her up.

Ragini looks at Swara anxiously, her heart of two minds. Still undecided whether she should bring up the topic or not. She had been up all night battling her conflicting emotions. Hesitantly she asks, "so, what are you planning to do now?" Confused over the oddity of her sister's question, Swara asks, "regarding?" Ragini replies with a smile, "regarding your marriage." "Ragini, what do you mean," Swara asks as she tries to understand the hidden pain that is lurking in her sister's eyes. "I know everything, Swara. You don't need to hide it from me," ragini adds.

"Oooh, secrets," Swara says teasingly, "we need to make ourselves comfortable," she adds as she jumps in to the bed. Confounded with her attitude, ragini lashes out, "you think all this is funny. Swara have you any idea how hurt Laksh is?" Somberly Swara says, "Ragini, sorry for making light of the situation. Come sit, let's talk." Sighing, Ragini sits by swara's side, saying, "sorry, I didn't mean to lash out."

With a smile, Swara asks, "what is it that I don't need to hide from you about my marriage?" Hesitating fractionally, Ragini replies, "that Sanskar shall give you a divorce so that you and Laksh can get married." Scowling, Swara yells angrily, "I can't believe it. He spoke to you too. I am going to kill him."

Shekhar welcomes Sanskar and says, "I hope you will stay for dinner." Turns to Sharmista and says, "where is Swara? Tell her Sanskar is here." Smiling Sharmista replies, "she..." Stops mid sentence as they hear swara's voice thought the closed bedroom door. At first all are alarmed, wondering what is going on, Swara rarely got angry. Embarrassed that her granddaughter would behave in such a manner, that too in front of her grandsoninlaw, dadi turns to her daughterinlaw, Sharmista and scolds, "what is this..." Stops as they hear more yelling. All straining their ears as they try to make sense of the muffled words.

"... Can't believe... Kill him... Marriage... Divorce... Not going back..." Trying not to burst out laughing, Sanskar says, "I think that is my cue" and walks towards swara's room.

Sanskar walks into the room, Swara turns around, glares at him with fury, grabs the first thing that comes into her hand and throws it at him. Ragini watches in horror as her hair brush sails through the air and hits Sanskar on his left shoulder. "Ouch," Sanskar yelps reflexively, his reactions slow for he had not expected Swara to attack him. "You are being childish," he admonishes calmly, annoying her further. Swara looks around for something else to throw at him. Prepared for another attack Sanskar strides over, grabbing her hands and twisting them behind her back before she can do any real damage. Turning to Ragini, he says, "leave us." Nodding, Ragini rushes towards the door. He calls out, "Ragini," stopping her at the door, waits for her to turn, then adds, "not a word outside." Nodding, she opens the door and quickly closes it behind her.

Ahhh DP knows much more than I anticipated! He's essentially the chess master here, not Sanskaar as I had initially thought.
So Sanskaar already trusts Swara.. and to such an extent. 😲
I found that small mother-son moment very touching. Only sons can tease their mums and get away with it. 😛

Swara imagined her and Sanskaar trying to make babies? 🤣 GM activated. ☺️
My my, her arms locked in place.. Ragini out of the room..
I love how all the characters are sane here... they actually give off human vibes! 😆
