The ending made me so very very happy! In fact everything that happened made me so very happy! 🤗
Part 1 -
The starting! Oh my Gosh ! So dreamy and steamy!☺️ The nature, the description of the sun and finally our favorite couple !*sigh*What I would give to be in Swara's place! 😆 😆 I am a complete besharam I know 😳😛 While I am being a complete besharam can I just go ahead and say how much I loved the fact that you actually went ahead and gave them that extra time. Sanskaar would forever be grateful to you Viji!😆 And if Swara from here is anything at all like me she would be thanking you for it too!😛😃 I of course loved reading that bit!😆
Have I mentioned how gifted you indeed are at making even the intimate scenes look so very beautiful? Seriously, no one would think anything other than two souls uniting when they read it -apart from the really naughty ones like me, who would use their own imaginations and go into the details of the act. Jokes apart, very very beautifully done Viji! You have an amaaazing amaazzing gift. Now, when can I have a book of yours added to my collection? 😃
Me, you and if I'm not wrong Medhu and Shru too have shared a special place and love for the very first SwaSan sindhoor scene. In my opinion, I loved it more than the actual one during their marriage , of course that one has a special place in my heart too however, the first one remains my favorite till now. I also loved that dream sindhoor sequence too, however a dream isn't really the same is it? ;) So to have you take that (I hope I am not wrong about your inspiration for that scene) and turn it into reality while also comparing the three and describing how this time it was completely different from the other two ,making it all the more special. They were now man and wife in every way possible! Added benefit was of course that you made me remember all those times! *sigh*
Part 2 -
Ah hah! I so was right - my theory that it had to be DP and could never be RP ! Yayy!! *does a happ dance* Sanskaar's dad did not let him down! My baby was so glad and happy and I was so damn happy that he was happy! 😃😃
I loved how SwaSan are now completely and openly relying on each other for comfort! Such a happy wala feeling that gave me. I would however want to tell you that through this entire part , SwaSan was an afterthought of sorts, RP and his son were the protagonists as you clearly meant for them to be. The way Sanskaar lashed out at his dad, believing that he had broken his trust - clearly angry that he had taken away his hero, his pride the very last person who he would have imagined to break his trust. It clearly showed how much Sanskaar depends on his dad, even though he knows he would forever be in his bade papa's shadows and never venture out. He has accepted that fact and in fact come to admire that trait of his! It was your typical Sanskaar, nothing escapes his notice - ever!
I equally enjoyed Ram's reaction to it and your very detailed description as to how much he valued his son's opinion of him. He is ready to accept disappointment and even ready to accept second place as his son's hero but what he clearly cannot accept for his son to misunderstand him and in a manner as despicable as that! RP was not many things but a good brother, son, husband and dad( though he did feel he hadn't been as active and fair on fulfilling this role as the others but he nevertheless had always been loyal and loved his son more than he would ever openly acknowledge) were definitely something that he was and would always be. (At least the one here is since we hardly ever get him to speak his mind on the show, or for that matter speak at all. Why is that actor being paid again? 😛)
That story on DP and his affair with Kaveri , so very believable. Kudos for coming up with that back story, DP - his dad- his mentor - daughter and finally our very own Ram coming to the rescue. The best part to the entire story was DP and RP's equation , clearly very father - son . What better than the fact that Lakshman was going against Ram on this one could have been used to make DP see how he had clearly lost his way and bring him back! Now if only another bhai in the household had inherited those genes! But the one we see now on the show is definitely on his way huh? ( becoming Lakshman from Lucky 😛) Though I still am wary on his sudden change of heart towards SwaSan.
Ragini , I noticed has completely turned herself into a vamp! There is clearly no comeback for her after everything she has done. So much of hatred and vile in her heart. Can you really make it all go away? Well with the promo that has now come out, I can't honestly believe she can turn positive after that. Well if we do get our SwaSan remarriage, I really won't mind suffering yet another illogical and absolutely crappy twist in the story - as long as they are married! Because we all know what that means in serial world - you cannot be the main leads and married and not get together at the end , no matter how far away the end is. 😆
Coming back to the story, I was so happy to once again see RP choosing a "dad's role" over that of a "brother" , clearly standing up for his son and once again questioning his brother at his "so - called" love for his "like son"! That man seriously infuriates me now! The very name makes me want to break something over that bald head of his! Gahhh! I despise that man! And here is our very own Sanskaar who is ready to sacrifice all his hard work for a guy who doesn't deserve to be called papa - bade ya chote , period! No matter how ridiculous I think he is being I can't help but be proud of my Sanskaar.
Btw - I so knew. It had to be AP who strode into the room!
Geethu my very dear pal...🤗 🤗 🤗
First of all, I want to say how touched I have been with your detailed, insightful comments on both my threads. I know how frightfully caught up in work you've been, so the fact that you took the time to give such comprehensive comments, chapter by chapter, plot twist by plot twist; made me feel both incredibly moved and incredibly humbled. Meant a lot to me, dear! 🤗 🤗
Secondly, have you noticed that your preferred font color is almost the same as the one I use for my "flashback" scenes? 😆 I love that pinkish--purple. Kinda reminiscent of Sanskaar's kurta for the KC puja, huh? 😉
I thought I'd split my reply to your lovely comment in two. In this one, I'll reply to the comment on Parts 1 and 2. In a subsequent one, I'll address Part 3 and the Epilogue. 😊
Part 1: Acha, you loved the dreamy and steamy beginning , huh? 😳 ☺️ Thanks for all those lovely words about the setting and the scene. Its SwaSan na, their intimacy is so very sublime, beautiful and divine. ☺️
I was cracking up at you thanking me for giving them more time together. 😆 😆. Oh those two need all the couple time they can get! They hardly get any of it in the serial...
And the sindhoor scene, you're perfectly right Geethu, their "Sindhoor marriage" scene is one of my absolute favorites from the serial, one of my favorite moments of all time, from any visual medium---TV, Movies, whatever. I still get goosebumps, just thinking about it. What a scene, what a scene...I was already a huge SwaSan fan then...but I just fell so massively in love with this pair after that, (and of course, the unforgettable Sanskaar drunk love confession scene), that it became complete and irrevocable. 😊 😉
And you are right about the quasi inspiration for the maang filling scene in this part, being that dream sequence of Sanskaar's, where he tenderly fills Swara's maang and kisses her forehead... ☺️. Man, now I'm lost in those memories again...😳
What I was doing in that scene was also an echo to the concluding scene in "Dyuta Parva"---where Swara fills her maang, while smiling at Sanskaar's reflection in the dressing mirror. She had shown him then, how she considered herself his, and it had marked the steady renewal of hope in Sanskaar's heart. And now, with their mutual love, trust and belief completely restored, Sanskaar tenderly fills her maang---marking her as his, and him as hers...for all eternity to come. 😊
Part 2: Thanks again for the lovely words, dear. And you were right, of course. I would never make Sanskaar's father stumble so badly as to stray from his marriage. That's just not our Ram Prasad!
And you identified that bit about SwaSan exactly---I wanted to convey how they are always there for each other, even with small but very significant gestures. Truly hubby--wifey feels. 😉
I wanted to show just how much Sanskaar had always valued his own Dad, though of course his Bade Papa was all of the kids' hero in that sense. Durga Prasad had been their role model in many ways, a genius with a great perspective and world view, who taught them all to aim ever higher, gave them wings, so to speak.
But it was Ram Prasad, who taught them to be grounded, and gave them that sense of stability, loyalty, integrity. Something which Sanskaar always treasured. So when Sanskaar thinks (from what he overhears of the Ram--Kaveri conversation), that his Dad might have cheated on his mom, not been so sincere and honest as he thought he was, he was just shattered, his sense of identity and belief strained.
And you hit the nail on the head as regards Ram's reaction. His son's opinion of him, matters tremendously to him. He has always loved his son tremendously, and did feel extremely guilty about not standing by him during that time of crisis, 5 years back. He has resolved to ensure his son's happiness now, to ensure he gets justice. And he wants to obviously ensure his son does not misunderstand his actions in the past. So, so glad you liked the father--son bonding here. 🤗
And again, I was so happy that you liked the back story I had invented for Durga Prasad, his mentor--protege relationship with Devendra Oswal, and how gets swept into that brief, sordid liaison with Devendra's daughter. What I wanted to portray there, was that at the end of the day, it was Durga Prasad's choice. Granted, Kaveri set about trying to allure him the best she could, since she had caught this intense fancy for him. And Devendara did his bit in kind of influencing his protege, since, given his own highly unconventional lifestyle, he saw nothing too bad about his daughter becoming the beloved mistress of his own protege, for whom he had considerable affection and regard.
But at the end of the day, though Durga Prasad feels considerable self loathing and disgust, he does choose to succumb. And it takes Ram, steady, resolute, reliable, and his brother's conscience keeper as always, to reawaken Durga's stifled conscience. Am so very happy, Geethu, that you loved the DP--RP relationship here as well. It was a sibling bond with a definite quasi parent--child bond as well, and I'm glad that came through.
Ragini--well, in this OS series, I imagined her to be a cunning, formidable antagonist. There really wasn't much scope at all, the way she was behaving, to redeem her convincingly, not here at least. She's just too far gone in vindictiveness and sheer schadenfreude. She wants to just pull down and destroy, and thinks that is the ultimate victory.
And Ram--he is very sure that Durga Prasad, or indeed anyone in the family, does not have the right to make that request of Sanskaar, to simply hand over his share of the business which he built from scratch. Without any help from the family, in fact, despite them having disowned him at the time. He wants to stand up for his son's happiness, for his due rights. And he catches Durga Prasad in that statement for sure! Its very true what he says---There's a yawning gulf between actually being a son and just being like a son---especially in the way Durga Prasad has treated Sanskaar! There was a parallel here to the Mahabharata, where Surya cautions his son, Karna, not to sacrifice his armor and earrings to Indra, no matter what the guile or pretext.
And you were right Geethu meri jaan---it was Annapurna entering the study!! 😆
I shall revert shortly on your absolutely lovely comments on Part 3 and the epilogue.
Love you Loads! 🤗 🤗

Annapurna Maheshwari completely owned the concluding part of this series. For once I did not miss Swara and Sanskar in this part. That's because you had me fully engrossed in AP's emotional journey. The fact that she was already privy to her husband's secret sure came as a surprise. Whats more surprising is that she chose to bury it in the very depths of her heart which reminded me of the dialogue from Titanic'' A woman's heart is a deep ocean of secrets''. God!! Viji you must think I am crazy that I keep quoting lines from movies. what to do I am a complete movie buff.😆
It's often said that we have no control over certain aspects of our lives but we do have control on our reactions and how we choose to deal with our circumstances matter the most. Whether AP did the right thing by choosing to stay silent on this matter is subjective. I do understand her point of view, she cannot stop loving him even though the sanctity of her marriage was violated. Perception also plays a vital role here. Yes the betrayal, the hurt is there but what she also sees is that her husband did come back to her, he chose her and his children and was deeply ashamed of that momentary lapse of judgement And I am glad she acknowledged that it was Ram Prasad's intervention that brought her husband back to his senses.
The entire revelation was superb. Annapurna truly emerged as the strong and resilient person that she is. She finally voiced the injustice that Sanskar is always subjected to and made her husband realize how small he had shrunk in his stature by demanding this sacrifice thereby simultaneously removing the proverbial blindfold and rejecting the need to bind someone to an oath for the sake of protection. That was brilliantly written Viji. She was already Gandhari and though the potential of becoming Kunti cannot be entirely disregarded, her self awareness prevented her from making that mistake.
A lady never creates a scene- How apt is that for the dignified Annapurna
Viji I would sacrifice Disney Land a million times for the pristine waters and sandy beaches of Hawaii. Swara should not complain😆. Romancing her husband is more important then Sleeping beauty and Cinderella. In these matters I'm glad Sanskar is the wiser one.😃
A brilliant end to a brilliant series Viji. Thank you again for dedicating this to me. It really really, really means a lot. 😳
Lots of love
