Chapter-21
Swara understood that he was really angry from her. Sanskar went to Uttara and sat there with Raksh in his lap.
Swara went near him and sat on the floor kneeling down.
Sa- Swara ye kya kar rahi ho?
Swara was about to say something when Raksh interrupted and said something out of innocence which made SWASAN embarrassed and others laugh.
Rak- Chachu, chichi neeche isliye baithi hain because aap unhe apne lap par nahi bitha rahe ho jaise mujhe. (he got up) Chachi aap neeche mat baitho, main hatt raha hoon aap meri jagah chachu ke lap par baith jao.
Sa- (embarrassed) Raksh aap jaakar floor par dance karo. Okay?
Rak- Okay chachu!
Swara left the place out of embarrassment.
Ut- (whispered in his ears) Bhai mere jaane ke baad bhi mei kami shayad Raksh poori kar dega.
Sanskar felt more embarrassed and left making an excuse. He went to the terrace and put his hands on railing thinking about his life, about Swara, about staying away from her and all. Suddenly he heard the door open. He turned to see the person but being night there were lights on which shone so bright and covered her face. He felt who she was and turned again to be in the same position.
Sa- (turning) Swara please go away right now. I don't want to talk to anyone and specially you.
Yes, she was Swara. She went to him.
Sw- (in the most innocent and adorable tone possible) Itna naaraz ho?
Sa- Swara you really asking me this question!! (Turns to face her with a smirk) I mean really Swara. You know na what happened downstairs in the function. (again turned and rested his hands on the railing)
Sw- Sanskar look I am sorry if I have hurt you but...
Sa- (interrupted) Swara If (turns again and holds her by her shoulders not out of love but with anger) Swara, its not if. I am real hurt. When Ayesha was ready then what was the need for you to be the Mahaan Swara. She was ready for our dance no... then... Oh wait! You being the Great Mahaan Devi Swara who loves her family and cannot see anyone bit disappointed even if makes her husband upset right? (leaves her with jerk which makes her stumble)
Sw- Sanskar, its not like this... actually,
Sa- (again holds her by her shoulders)Swara I don't really want to know what it is like I am really fed up of you being the MAHAAN Swara. So believe me not only for today this was a very small incident, but the previous ones. You left me because Laksh threatened for my life. I am really glad you love me so much. But I don't want this mahaan Swara as my wife. She was never the Swara for whom I fell because the Swara I love also cared for her husband or at least her friend's feelings. But this Swara ain't that one whom I loved. You have changed Swara...
He was about to leave when he felt a grip on his hand. He turned to see Swara standing in the same position all numb with a lone tear falling from her eyes. That is when Sanskar realized that how much he has hurt her!
He immediately went to her cupped her face and wiped her tears with his hands. He took her into a tight embrace. Swara was not responding, she was completely numb.
Sa- (while hugging) Swara I am sorry. I didn't mean any of it. I did not intent to hurt you. I am sorry Swara.
Seeing Swara not responding, he left the place with tears in his eyes. By the time Swara could realize what all happened was gone. She was sure for where he had gone but still wanted to confirm. She ran down and saw Uttara coming back to her room. Uttara was upset. Swara went to her.
Sw- (in a hurried tone with tears in her eyes) Uttara, where is Sanskar?
Ut- Bhabhi this time bhai is hurt, unki aakhon se dikh raha tha.
Swara felt more guilty on hearing it. Uttara understood and told her the story.
FLASHBACK
Sanskar came down with tears in his eyes. He saw Uttara in the way and tried to compose himself but it was late as Uttara saw it.
Ut- Bhai what's the matter?
Sa- (trying to remain calm) Nothing! Why are you here? Its your mehndi... you should be downstairs.
Ut- Bhai don't change the topic why are you crying?
Sa- I am not Uttara.
Uttara kept a hand on his shoulder.
Ut- Bhai please bata do na!
Sa- Uttara main abhi iss bare mein kuch nahi baat karna chahta hoon. I am leaving to our house, sorry Swara's. so if anyone asks please tell them.
Uttara understood that asking anything ahead this would be bad so she let him go assuring him. He went from there with teary eyes.
FLASHBACK OVER
Swara was more broken hearing this. She ran to reach her home. She knocked the door but there was response. She took out an extra key which she had with her and opened the door.
IN THE HALL
Sw- Sanskar... Sanskar...
There was no response. She went to the kitchen
Sw- Sanskar...Where are you?
She went in their room. She was about to call him when she saw him looking out of the window to the moon and having deep thoughts.
Sw- Sanskar...
He immediately turned. Swara did not let him speak anything and just hugged him tight. He struggled to get himself out of the hug but Swara did not leave. Finally Swara broke the hug.
Sw- Sanskar I am really sorry. Maine tumhe itni baar hurt kiya hai and you are still forgiving me. (Sanskar was about to say something when Swara interrupted) Nahi Sanskar please mujhe bolne do. I am really wrong. Main sirf tumhari acchai ke liye sochti hoon par ye bhool hi jaati hoon ki tumhare liye sabse zyada acchi baat mere saath rehna hai and believe me vice versa bhi hai. Sanskar main kaafi badal gayi hoon. But main wapas tumhari Swara banna chahti hoon. So MR. SANSKAR MAHESHWARI (she knelt down in front of him with open arms) I LOVE YOU, I REALLY DO. PLEASE MUJHE WAPAS APNE LIYE JEENA SIKHA DO. I WANT TO LIVE FOR U, FOR US. PLEASE SANSKAR WILL YOU MAKE ME MRS. SWARA SANSKAR MAHESHWARI AGAIN. PLEASE! PRETTY PLEASE.
Sanskar was overwhelmed by her gesture. He just asked her to get up. She could not understand his move. As soon as she got up she found herself in a very tight embrace even the air could not pass. She too responded which made Sanskar break down more and more.
Sa- (while hugging) Swara I am sorry. I am very bad. Maine tumhe bahut hurt kiya. I am the worst person ever and...
Before he could speak Swara placed her lips on his into a quick kiss which later on... (you know what)
After they broke apart, Sanskar and Swara went to the bed after changing their dresses. To lighten the mood Sanskar played a movie, MINIONS as Swara loved the movie. They both were watching when Swara dozed off in Sanskar's embrace. Sanskar smiled at her innocence and switched off the Television and lamp. He too slept embracing her as if not letting her go.
