I might be in the minority here, but I didn't feel very sorry for Ragini...Not too much, anyway. Perhaps that sounds rather harsh, but she's got to learn the consequences of behaving a certain way.

Just like we discussed earlier, that Swara needed time to take the physical aspect of her relationship forward with Sanskaar, since she'd only just realized where she wanted to take their relationship; similarly, Ragini needs to be read the riot act to, when she violates the explicitly stated understanding between her husband and her, that if at all she has any doubts or qualms, she would come to him. Not try to go behind his back and stir a hornet's nest with the elders.

Good Lord in Heaven, I never thought a day would come when I would say this: but Lakshya had been so circumspect and right and giving, in his relationship with her. He'd promised her his fidelity and companionship, and from the beginning, he had told her---while he would treat her with regard and affection, it was upto her to really earn his respect and love.

She failed spectacularly...and not due to any act of omission or commission on his part. She was paranoid and insecure, pure and simple...but then she also lied about it and tried to create a melodramatic scene. As any woman worth her salt should know, those last two, are the things any husband hates the most---even when things in the marriage are perfectly fine, which is definitely not, in their case...

Whew!! Sorry, I got carried away there. But it irks me sometimes when characters who so obviously act in a calculative, sly, and conniving manner, expect to get forgiven so easily. I want to say: Work for it, Ragini darling!! Life isn't a bed of roses! Deal with it!!

Moving on to the much more pleasant and dreamy territory 😉 of your next chapter--Oh My God, SwaSan...words would not do justice to the light hearted banter, the sheer effervescent joy bubbling out of both of them as they step out on their first date.

Sanskaar's mock serious expounding of how exactly the dates would go--step by step delineation of how he would be planning to get close to her, get her accustomed to his touch, his caresses, were so funny, and yet so cute! I wonder how he managed to keep a straight face! And I just loved how well he's read Swara. He looked at some diamond earrings, but then realized that Swara would probably value lovely knick knack earrings made of peacock feathers more...She is, after all, a girl who looks at the value, and not the price of things. Her sister, of course being her polar opposite! 😛

And Swara, Swara----the end gave her intentions away slightly, didn't it? She was pouting slightly in mild pique, asking if she needed to tolerate a ghastly horror movie for just one kiss! And Sanskaar, being Sanskaar, had the killer one liner up his sleeve: if she was good, she'd get one kiss, and if she was bad, she might just get two!!

Oh, Bubble, Bubble...such a wonderful mood that last chapter left me in. I missed this so much on the serial, the friendly, naughty banter between SwaSan. There, they careen from one crisis to another, one villain to battle after another. So refreshing to read of them having some normal, real life, couple time. 👏 👏
