PART 2

Next day in college, Ragini and Swara were walking up the staircase and then Sanskaar sped past them. He was running up two steps at a time as if he was in some tension. He didnt notice them.
Ra: Sanskaar..
Sanskaar stopped and turned. When he saw them he came running down to them.
Sa:Hiii Ragini..Hiii Swara...
Ra:Why were you running Sanskaar.?Koi jaldi hai kya?
Sa: Haan Ragini..I was going to meet the Principal. When I went to his office, they said that he is upstairs .So I wanted to meet him quickly and go back to my class before the bell rings.How are you feeling now,Swara?
Sw:(smiling)I am alright now Sanskaar...But, hurry up now.The bell will ring in 10 minutes.
Sa:(checks the time)Arre..Baap re..Byee..(runs upstairs)
Sw:Paagal ladka...
Ra:(giggles)Aur tum paagal ladki..
Swara made an angry face at Ragini and then laughed. Then they went up the stairs to their class. They went and sat in their places. Soon Parineeta also came to the class. She seemed very happy.
Pa:(very happily, to Ragini and Swara) Hello girls...Hey Swara..Ab kaisi ho?
Sw:Main teek hoon..Kya baat hai Parineeta..?Aaj tum bahut khush nazar aa rahi ho...
Pa:Haan..Woh isliye,kyunki aaj mera birthday hai..
Ra:Oh wow!Happy birthday Parineeta..(hugs her)
Sw:Many many happy returns of the day...(hugs Parineeta)
Pa:Thank you...Thank you...
Ra:(tells loudly to the whole class)Friends...Today is Parineeta's birthday...
Everybody sings the "Happy Birthday to you" song and wished Parineeta. Parineeta gave sweets to everyone.The bell rang and everybody went and sat in their places.
Pa:Listen,Aaj shaam ko mere ghar mein party hai..Tum dono ko aana hi hoga...
Ra:(sadly) Lekin...Our hostel in time is at 7.30 pm...?
Pa:No Lekin Vekin...I will drop you in your hostel before 7.30 pm..Is that ok?
Ragini and Swara became happy and excited.
Sw:Kya Sanskaar bhi party mein aayega?
Pa:(smiles)Haan...Main Sanskaar aur Lakshya ko bhi invite karoongi...
At that time their teacher came in and their class started.
**************************
In the evening after clas,
Pa:I am going to Adarsh's class to invite Sanskaar and Lakshya,and I am going home early today with Adarsh.Party ki taiyaariya karni hai na..I will come to your hostel in my car at 5 o clock to take you home...Be ready...Ok...Byeee
Ragini and Swara: Bye Parineeta...
Then Parineeta went off.
Sw:If we had known earlier that today is her birthday,we could have got her a gift na...
Ra:Haan...But we can go and buy now.
After going to the hostel, they kept their bags and then they went out for shopping. They reached back to the hostel, quickly after buying their gifts for Parineeta. Then they began to get ready for the party. At 5 o clock Parineeta came. Parineeta,Swara and Ragini reached Parineeta's home in her car.
Swara was wearing this and was looking extremely pretty.

Ragini was wearing this and was looking awesome.

Parineeta was looking special in this dress.

The party was organized in the hall.They moved to the hall. Swara and Ragini presented their gifts to Parineeta and she thanked them both by hugging them. There, they met Parineeta's Mom, Mrs.Premlatha Dixit.
Pr: (smiling)Parineeta,toh yeh hai Swara aur Ragini...
Pa:Haan Mom...(shows Swara)Yeh Swara hai...
Sw:Namaste Aunty...
Pr:Namaste..
Pa:(shows Ragini)Aur yeh hai Ragini..
Ra:Namaste Aunty...
Pr:Namste Beti...Parineeta tum logon ke baare mein bahut baatein karti hai...
Then Parineeta's Dad Mr. Niranjan Dixit came to them.And Parineeta introduced Swara and Ragini to him too.Then her Mom and Dad went to meet some guests.
Swara was searching the hall for Sanskaar. Ragini noticed this and nudged Parineeta.
Pa:(teases)Kisko dhoondh rahi ho tum, Swara?
Sw:(still searching)Woh Sanskaar kahi nazar nahi aa raha...
Pa:Aur yeh Adarsh kahan chala gaya..?Sanskaar aur Lakshya bhi usi ke saath honge..Main dekh kar aati hoon...Yahan ruko..
Parineeta went to look for them.
Meanwhile, Adarsh came to the hall with Sanskaar and Lakshya. Adarsh had gone to pick them up from the boys hostel.
Sanskaar was looking hot in this look. (without the sun glasses😊)

Lakshya was wearing a white shirt with a baby pink blazer and jeans. Adarsh was wearing a red blazer and white shirt with jeans. {Sorry dears, I couldn't get the images of their costumes}
But Ragini and Swara didnt notice them coming.Both of them were standing in front of a pillar in a corner.
Adarsh and Lakshya were going to greet Ragini and Swara, but Sanskaar stopped them.
Sa:(winking) Tum log ruko..And watch me...
Then slowly he went and stood behind the pillar.He leaned forward and pulled Ragini's hair slowly.When she looked back,he hid behind the pillar.
Sw: Kya hua..? Peeche kyun dekh rahi ho..?
Ra: I felt like someone was pulling my hair from behind.
Sw:You'd have imagined it.
Ra:(shrugging her shoulders)May be...
Adarsh and Lakshya was watching this and laughing.
Sanskaar (smiling naughtily at them) again pulled her hair with some more force..
Ra:Aah...
Sw:(gets angry) Kya huaaa..?
Ra: Phir kisi ne mera baal kheencha...
Sw:(looks behind)Yahan pe toh koyi nahi hai...
Sanskaar was again going to pull Ragini's hair as he felt some one pulling his ear.
Sa:Aahh...(and he saw Parineeta pulling his ear)Kya kar rahe ho yaar ...?
Ragini and Swara heard his voice and looked behind the pillar.
Ra:(angrily)LAKSHHH...It was you..?Haaa...I will kill youuu...(and started beating Sanskaar)
Sa: Arre...Baap re...
Sanskaar started running away from her and Ragini ran behind him.
La:(comes and catches Sanskaar)Aao Ragini...Aur maro...
Ragini continued beating Sanskaar playfully. Lakshya was holding Sanskaar tightly. Swara,Parineeta,and Adarsh were laughing ,watching the scene.
Then Ragini also stopped beating Sanskaar and started laughing. Lakshya let go off Sanskaar and they also began to laugh.
At that time the lights went off and a spot light was shone on a person.It was Parineeta's brother Puneet Dixit.
Pu: Ladies and Gentlemen..Welcome to the party...Its time for my lovely sister to cut the birthday cake.
The spotlight shone over Parineeta. Everybody clapped their hands and Parineeta smiled at all.
Adarsh led Parineeta over to the table where the cake was kept. Parineeta blew the candles and then cut the cake. Everyone sang the "Happy Birthday" Song...
But Swara was not noticing any of these. She was busy staring at Sanskaar.
Parineeta came to feed the cake to her.
Pa:Swara...(whispers in her ear)Stop staring at Sanskaar and have this cake.
Sw:(grins)Oh...(has the cake)..
The dim lights were on.The song "Shaam shaandaar" ( from Shaandaar film) started to play. Adarsh and Parineeta went to the dance floor and began to dance, with so many others. Swara,Sanskaar,Ragini and Lakshya were standing in a corner and enjoying the music. Then the "Badtameez dil" song (from Yeh Jawani hain deewani film) was played. Sanskaar couldn't control himself and began to dance. He was dancing so well that every body stopped their dance and began cheering him up. The spotlight was shone on him. Swara wished that she could also dance along with him.
Everybody asked Sanskaar to move on to the dancefloor with his pair.
Ra:(nudged Swara and whisperes)Don't lose this chance..Go..
Swara was about to go when Sanskaar came to Ragini.
Sa:(offering his hand to Ragini)Come on Ragini...Will you dance with me...
Everybody was looking at Ragini and the spotlight was shining on Ragini and Sanskaar...
Ragini looked at Swara, feeling confused. Swara nodded her head that meant, "Go on..".
Ragini half-mindedly went with Sanskaar to the dancefloor. She had no other choice. Everybody was looking at her and if she refused Sanskaar, he would feel insulted. They began to dance and the others also continued dancing. She was looking at Swara every now and then, during the dance, since she was feeling really bad. Lakshya and Swara were clapping their hands and encouraging them. Ragini thought "I shall make some excuse and stop dancing, so that Swara can dance with Sanskaar.."
But just then,
La: Chalo Swara...Hum bhi dance karte hai..
Sw:Ok...
She went with Lakshya to the dancefloor. Now the song was "Matargashti"(from Tamasha film). They began to dance, enjoying immensely.
The dance continued for some more time. More songs were played. In the end, Adarsh,Parineeta,Ragini,Swara,Lakshya and Sanskaar were all dancing together. They all enjoyed immensely.
Then it was time for having food. After having their food, all six of them were sitting around a table and chatting.It was a round table. They were sitting in this order-(Parineeta,Ragini,Swara,Lakshya,Sanskaar,Adarsh. ie,Adarsh was sitting on the right side of Parineeta)
Ra: Listen everyone, let's play a game.
Sa:What game?
Ra:It's called Truth or Dare.
Sa:Oh..I know the game.But for that, an empty bottle is needed na..
Ra:All of you know the game?
La:No Ragini...
Ra:Ok..First of all, an empty bottle will be placed horizontally on the table.One of us will turn it.When the bottle stops turning ,its opening end will be pointing one of us. He/she will be asked "Truth or Dare"... If he/she says "Truth",a question will be asked to him/her for which he/she should answer the truth only.If he/she says "Dare", we can ask him/her to do something,and he/she should do it...Is that clear...?
La: Wow...interesting game!!
Ad:I shall get the bottle..(he goes and gets the bottle)
Adarsh placed the bottle on the centre of the table and sat in his place. Ragini turned the bottle. Everyone's eyes were on the turning bottle. Then the bottle began to slow down, and it stopped pointing Parineeta.
Ra: Parineeta,Truth or Dare..?
Pa:(thinks) Hmmm...Truth.
Ra: Ok..Who was your first crush other than Adarsh?
Ad: What??No way...She has loved me only...Hain na Parineeta...?
Pa: Aisa nahi hain Adarsh..Is game mein toh mujhe sach hi bolna padega..(laughs..)
Ad:(surprised..) Kyaa??
Everyone laughs.
Pa:Aur mera first crush tha...Aamir Khan..(smiles naughtily..)
Ad: Aaarrgh...Parineetaaa..Tumne to mera jaan hi nikaal dii...
Ra:Now Parineeta can turn the bottle...
Parineeta turned the bottle. After sometime, bottle slowed down and stopped pointing Sanskaar..
Pa:Truth or Dare..?
Sa:Truth..
Pa:(Thinks..)Hmmm...Have you ever really loved any girl in your life..?
Swara looked on, with an interested look.
Sa:I have had many crushes before...But, not... you know..."real love"...(then slowly)But I think I love some one now... ( looks at everyone..)
Ad:(surprised)What??You didnt even say to me..!!
La:Even me..
Pa:Come on Sanskaar...Say who is that?
Swara was really shocked...She thought.."Oh no!!Who would it be..?"
Sa:Ha...I won't tell you that..That was not the question..
Everyone asked him many times..But he didnt say...
Ra:Its ok...Leave it..Lets continue the game..
Sanskaar turned the bottle. The bottle stopped to point Swara. Swara was wondering what Sanskaar would ask her.
Sa:Now Swara,Truth or Dare?
Swara thought "If I say Truth, then I will also have to answer such questions..."
Sa:Come on Swara,what are you thinking?
Sw:Dare
