I don't know about TRPs but Laksh's character is getting annoying. If CVs are transforming his character then definitely they want to bring SwaSan closer. They won't deliberately bring a couple closer without thinking about TRPs. So that concludes that SwaSan is giving the TRPs that the show needs...CVs are no fools...
