A lovely update Ally 😊

I loved both the threads you handled here...the SwaSan date as well as Ragini's situation at home.

Ragini had assumed Annapurna was neutral to her, but overhearing Annapurna's vehement response to Sujata's baiting statement about enjoying the "musical evening" with Ragini, must have shattered her illusions. The way you showed her maintaining a diary, with the list of people who like her (containing only Swara), people neutral to her, and people who hate her, was just so heartrending. One can imagine, how lonely and bereft she must be feeling.

The SwaSan date was so beautifully portrayed. What I loved was not just the romantic overtones ---Sanskaar lightly flirting with Swara, his teasing grin and naughty words evoking a blushing, fluttering response from her; but also the very mature and sorted conversation between the two. I loved the way Sanskaar states that he wants to woo her, court her on dates, to give her a chance to fall in love with him. He doesn't do anything by halves, as you so brilliantly put it, and so he would not want Swara to have any uncertainty in her mind if she does decide she feels for him as more than a friend, and wants to stay in the marriage.

The clear headed, determined focus Sanskaar has, came through beautifully in your prose. And I really liked, too, that Swara has started feeling attracted to him, and has decided that she would never, ever want to hurt Sanskaar. She would rather hurt herself, than cause him pain.

I hope Swara realizing the depth of her own feelings for him, should not be far.

Wonderful update, and look forward to the next chapter.

Beautiful update dear.
I feel bad for Ragini, now she knows except Swara others don't like her.
Swasan's emotions were beautifully explained. Looking forward to the next update!

I think Sanskaar is just the perfect man and it would absolutely be just like him to always think of Swara first.

I wish Swara and Sanskaar's relationship progressed like this, in a linear yet upwards fashion, rather than 1 step forward, 5 steps back.

As for the 'no going back' I wanted to firm that part in this update. That if Swara stays, it will be her decision, and then a real relationship can happen.
