The CVs obsession with using Swara to showcase her naani's culture (with the implied disrespect to her sasuraal) is absolutely confounding.

I'm now simply grateful whenever she's not in a Bengali-style sari. Better that she be dressed in a damn mini-dress for KarvaChauth rather than that. Since Swara's clothes have anyway usually been mass-unappreciable, at least we'd avoid the deeper pitfall.

A married female- lead (genuine-married, fake-married, contract-married or any other variety of 'married') has exactly two options of attire -
regular-style sari, or sasuraal-tradition attire.

Anything else, and either the female-lead's screenspace is reduced, and other female-characters get more screenspace - or the serial gets closed.

This series has the reassuring situation that every female in the sasuraal is sartorially more mass-appreciable than Swara, though she has been constant female-lead.
So the serial is safe, only Swara's consolidation bears the brunt in consolidation of mass-appreciation. :((

I was actually relieved when Swara (the body-double) was shown in bts in that possibly shoddy blue salwaar-kameez. Now her possibly parading in Bengali-style for her KarvaChauth is a possibility, not yet a certainty.
