He didn't sow any seeds of hope into Lux IMO (Lux is visibly delusional & overconfident about getting Swara again & I don't think Sanskaar even needs to fuel it in him even if he was negative LOL) Just tried to reason with him. He told Lux where he is going wrong while trying to woo a girl like Swara & asked him to give her time, which is very sound advice IMO. Nowhere did he say that if you abide by what I suggest, you'll definitely be able to win Swara back. Also at this point, he hadn't had the talk with Swara & she only later on told him that she definitely won't go back to Lux, so it should also be clear that before this even Sanskaar must be thinking Swara wants to divorce him & unite with Laksh but can't due to familial & societal pressures & so he was heartbroken but still encouraging Lux enough to get his happiness back. He obviously wouldn't want to burst his brother's bubble with the harsh reality that Swara may have actually moved on & doesn't want him anymore, given Lux Ji's bratty attitude & blame-game behavior. What he told Lux was absolutely bang on IMO. No false hopes but neither total heartbreak too.
& in the SwaSan convo, like already mentioned, he wanted to make sure her happiness lies in the decision she's taken cos according to him mission RagYa would be useless if Swara is miserable about it so he just wanted to make sure she was fine with it & at the same time, he had hope flickered inside him that maybe he has a chance with her now. Since Swara isn't interested in going back to Lux, maybe his love won't be unrequited forever now, maybe living together again would make her fall for him & so he had that small smile on his lips, it was hope 😳
Sanskaar will always have hints of grey in his character & that is what makes him human & unique. He isn't afraid to use twisted ways to attain the right goal & that is exactly how I like him ⭐️
