pink color indicates luv & red color indicates marriage. its my observation thou i can be wrong too.
in one of the initial episodes laksh throw pink color on swara which indicated that they would fall in luv but sanskaar filled red colored sindoor in swara maang indicate that they will get married. as sindoor daan is important factor of marriage.
