the SwaSan wedding actually happens. She was a conspirator along with Swara & Sanskaar in the original "fake marriage". Had she been available on the scene, Swara would have probably had a canny and imaginative ally to give a solution to her dilemma: how to avoid going through with the formal marriage ritual, but at the same time avoid the news of her "fake marriage" from being revealed by Ragini & Lakshya.
Now that Dida is not around (and we can bet that the Machiavellian Dadi will be ably assisting her reptilian laado 😊), Swara doesn't have this supremely inventive person to turn to. Sharmishta, is of course, totally on Swara's side, but she, while being an extremely truthful and good natured person, isn't as canny as Dida. Plus, who knows, she may not even mind Swara getting hitched to Sanskaar for real (Shekhar and Ragini have already drilled into her how bad Swara is going to look if the truth of her marriage is revealed). Plus, Sharmishta also gives a lot of value to the fact that Sanskaar filled her daughter's maang. The way she looked sharply at Swara when she referred to Sanskaar as her 'parivar' made me think that perhaps, Shomi feels Swara might be slowly starting to develop feelings for him as well.
Personally I think the mariage will surely go through. Swara may find ways to avoid it, but Shomi isn't really going to help, and while Sanskaar will be prepared to go along with whatever Swara decides, in his heart of hearts he isn't going to be unhappy at all if the wedding actually happens.
😊 Just my reading of the situation. Do let me know your thoughts.
