I disagree. I actually find Laksh a great partner for Swara and vice versa. As the earlier episodes showed, they worked wonderfully together. Swara was a stabilizing figure in Laksh's life who kept him grounded and focused. While Laksh was a calming influence for Swara whenever she got stressed/ overwhelmed. He was always able to calm her down and make her smile. The two were really well matched. In fact, I think CVs also hinted at this earlier when the pandit mentioned how Swara-Laksh kundali matched perfectly.
Regarding Laksh redemption. I don't know. I confess, I haven't been watching the show religiously or even that attentively since Laksh-Ragini marriage. But to me, I actually somewhat *felt* like he wasn't completely wrong. Laksh was madly in love with Swara and stood by her side like a rock. He constantly had her back and supported her in front of others (his initial outburst at DP was also because DP shouted at Swara -- she was the catalyst, that's how much she mattered for him), and constantly declared his love for Swara and put her first. Swara, on the other hand, ALWAYS made her family her first priority. She never put Laksh first. And secondly, she never really said she loved him that much. Despite all that, Laksh always believed her. And then according to him, she stood him up in their own wedding mandap and he was forced to marry Ragini to save reputations of both families. And then Swara comes and the misunderstanding grew. Despite that, he continued to love her. He only started retaliating and acting shitty towards when Swara and Sanskaar got married and started parading their marriage/ love towards each other.
So yeah, he's acting shitty, but that's because he thinks he's been betrayed in love. By the woman he loved the most. So for me, he doesn't really need a huge redemption. Once the misunderstanding clears (Ragini plan comes out in open), the original Laksh would immediately apologize to Swara and propose to her. That is, if the CVs decide to keep the original Laksh. They've been changing him so idk.
Regarding Sanskaar, for me, he's still technically not redeemed for me. The difference between Laksh and Sanskaar is this: Both thought they wre betrayed by people they loved the most. Both felt extremely unhappy and angry. *Both* attempted to take revenge (well not really in Laksh case) from the person who they thought wronged them. For Laksh, it was Swara. For Sanskaar, it was Laksh and DP. BUT the difference between the two is this: Laksh never attempted to bodily harm or ruin the reputation of a third party. Sanskaar DRUGGED Swara and attempted to ruin her life with Laksh to get his revenge from Laksh. Swara was innocent in the whole Sanskaar-love-dying fiasco and yet he STILL targetted her. Laksh has kept his barbs to Swara and occasionally, but he hasn't stooped down to Sanskaar's level.
All Sanskaar did was apologize to Swara and save her and he got redeemed. According to that logic, if Ragini apologizes to Swara-Laksh-Shomi and saves Swara, she gets redeemed. It's bullshit LOL. Sanskaar needs to have a more real redemption in my eyes. I still have hope he'll turn out to be grey shaded like he was earlier than the good character he's morphed into.
Now onto your points, again I disagree LOL.
Like I said earlier, Sanskaar realized he was harming an INNOCENT person so he stopped. Swara is NOT innocent for Laksh, she stood him up. He doesn't KNOW the truth.
And secondly, he knows he's hurting Swara LOL. That's the entire reason he's acting like an asshole, to make her feel pain the way he did.
I'd like to clarify, I'm not saying Laksh is right in his actions or that I'm supporting him, I merely saying I can see where he's coming from (in regards to his actions) and that I think he's still better than Sanskaar.
