Hello dear 😊
Basically, I'm new to this forum, as well, and I was going to open up a similar topic as you did - with a little focus on the pairing part. I completely agree with you: It's probably best to not fixate yourself on one specific pairing.I like the show for its plot and characters. Actually, you'll never find me watching a show solely because of a pair as I'm not that much of a romantic; the storyline is that which has to catch my attention. And to add to that, I like Swara as a character, she's really refreshing, but I also find Ragini endearing and the glimpses we got from her "stronger" character really interesting- Swara has been raised like this, to speak her mind hence, she's open and has no problems expressing herself. Ragini, on the other hand, is shy and has been raised to obey her elders not matter what - so, it was really impressive how she stood up in front of DP, for example. I just wish that the CVs focus more on her as the show is Swaragini, so both the sister should be a main focus. I adore Swara's Dida, she is awesome, and Shekhar and Shomi's love story was also interesting - although, I'm not the biggest Shekhar fan. Laksh as a character is also good - loved it when he left his house. And now, I'm very much intrigued by Sanskar! But seeing the RagYa arranged marriage in process and yet, Laksh repeating that he doesn't want to and the description of his dream girl fitting Swara, I knew there'd be lots of confusion with the pairs - so, I didn't get attach to any from the very beginning.I see potential for all three pairs - be it SwarYa (which I do enjoy, though I'm not a hardcore fan, yet), RagYa (opposites. They could balance each other quite nicely if shown well) and also Sanskar-Swara (lol, first time Sanskar got mentioned, I had a fleeting thought about him with Swara; honestly, I have no idea why... but the clash of strong personalities would be interesting) So, I don't care that much for end-pairs, not as much as I do for the characters themselves and their bonds with their family/each other. And as you mentioned, the end-equation will be dependant on Swara who doesn't show feelings for anyone apart from her sister, at the moment. Also: At the beginning, I was rather surprised by how fast-paced it was, meaning how quickly Shekhar and Shomi's past and Swara's truth was revealed - it was a positive surprise because nowadays, every show seems to drag these things endlessly.
