Basically, I'm new to this forum, as well, and I was going to open up a similar topic as you did - with a little focus on the pairing part. I completely agree with you: It's probably best to not fixate yourself on one specific pairing.

I like the show for its plot and characters. Actually, you'll never find me watching a show solely because of a pair as I'm not that much of a romantic; the storyline is that which has to catch my attention. And to add to that, I like Swara as a character, she's really refreshing, but I also find Ragini endearing and the glimpses we got from her "stronger" character really interesting- Swara has been raised like this, to speak her mind hence, she's open and has no problems expressing herself. Ragini, on the other hand, is shy and has been raised to obey her elders not matter what - so, it was really impressive how she stood up in front of DP, for example. I just wish that the CVs focus more on her as the show is Swaragini, so both the sister should be a main focus. I adore Swara's Dida, she is awesome, and Shekhar and Shomi's love story was also interesting - although, I'm not the biggest Shekhar fan. Laksh as a character is also good - loved it when he left his house. And now, I'm very much intrigued by Sanskar!

But seeing the RagYa arranged marriage in process and yet, Laksh repeating that he doesn't want to and the description of his dream girl fitting Swara, I knew there'd be lots of confusion with the pairs - so, I didn't get attach to any from the very beginning.

I see potential for all three pairs - be it SwarYa (which I do enjoy, though I'm not a hardcore fan, yet), RagYa (opposites. They could balance each other quite nicely if shown well) and also Sanskar-Swara (lol, first time Sanskar got mentioned, I had a fleeting thought about him with Swara; honestly, I have no idea why... but the clash of strong personalities would be interesting) So, I don't care that much for end-pairs, not as much as I do for the characters themselves and their bonds with their family/each other. And as you mentioned, the end-equation will be dependant on Swara who doesn't show feelings for anyone apart from her sister, at the moment.

Also: At the beginning, I was rather surprised by how fast-paced it was, meaning how quickly Shekhar and Shomi's past and Swara's truth was revealed - it was a positive surprise because nowadays, every show seems to drag these things endlessly.

Noor!! It's so good to see you on this forum!! Don't get to talk as much on NAUC anymore LOL!

And coming to your posts -- lovely as always and I agree with what you've said!

Except that unfortunately I have begun shipping SwarYa LOL. Their interactions and the ease between them is just too hard to ignore, along with their chemistry.

And as for the pace, actually I think you're right. The pace of this show is really going great right now. It's not too slow nor too fast imo.

---

To TM: Great post! And I agree for the most part!
I actually also really like Varun;s inclusion in this show. I think he brings something different and he's a good actor. I'm really excited for Sanskaar. I guess it's confirmed that after he got bedakaled, he went out and joined (started?) a rival company and is after DP? Although his revenge against Laksh comes across as very odd, considering how much Laksh misses him and loves him. But like Noor said in another post, it also points to an interesting parallel between them and SwaRag.

Also, I absolutely adore the Bose family. Those three women are my favourite characters and I cherish their scenes. I think it's the first time I've ever since a completely self-sufficient, entirely woman-dominated household. It's great! And the bonding between the three is so lovely to watch. I was so conflicted with ShekSu got together because I wanted the three ladies to continue living together LOL (Dadi would never allow it).

Speaking of whom, I also don't like how everyone is so forgiving towards Dadi. I honestly think her characterization is the worst? Like even in terms of villainy. DP doesn't think of himself asa villain but just that he is extremely set in his eyes. Dadi also doesn't think of herself as a villain apparently, but her constant attempts to downplay the Bose women are completely terrible. I don't get it. Why does she hate them so much? Dida only started retailating after Parvarti began it whereas the other Bose women don't say anything. I think I would've preferred Dadi's villainy had we not been shown the flashback (the flashback makes her villainy seems very unfounded and her acts even worser). But I digress.

And you have a very good point about Swara's feelings. I strongly hope she doesn;t fall for Sansaar. Although that bit about the two being clashing personalities is seeming mightily attractive to me to watch (Noor has a way with words LOL).

Thanks Lovely_lady!

SwarYa are lovable. I liked their interaction right off the bat! But something just feels off? Is it only me? Laksh getting someone exactly like he always wanted, realization of love quickly, confession of love quickly - CVs didn't really focus on that. When writers do this, its tends to be because they want to get to the following story line after a twist that throws everyone off.

Sanskaar is definitely interesting and sometimes scenes get boring but not once have I been bored with him. Additionally can you imagine how Sanskaar would crush Ragini if SanGini happened? I mean he's ready using her like this. Swara on the other hand would throw it right back in his face. If Sanskaar messed with Swara, she won't take it. Which makes them very confrontational and clashy - personally though not realistic I enjoy watching and shipping that. 😳

You're right! Dida is another great character. I was actually hoping the Shomi and Shekhar would live at their house together. That would have been nice. But all we get is unreasonable Dadi.

i respect all your post guys @starasdf...
i completely agree with you ... with swara and sanskaar ...swara will handle sanskaar very well ...i mean teaching him lesson giving tit for tat ...it would be very funny and interesting to watch ...

😊laksh wants a perfect life partner for him ...he sees it in swara and not interested in ragini so much till now...one reason of it is she is not so outspoken ...he wants an outgoing expressive girl who can teach him lessons ...and make him correct...

but in real life ...who gets his or her perfect life partner...somehow he is trying to force swara to love him as he thinks he need her support ...but from swara side i dont think she has fallen in love in him till now or feels something for him...

waise...i have no problem with swarya now ...but i would love to see two imperfects making each other perfect like ragya and then slowly and slowly fall in love with each other...

i think sanskaar will marry swara to take revenge on laksh and will force ragya to get married...

i know many here dont want a forced marriage even i dont want...but ...,i think this is not a very bad way ...because after ragini's accident i dont think she will talk to laksh anymore...its ofcourse she will try to avoid him and maybe start hating him ...after knowing his past deeds...and true lucky...

i agree with you in this that writers have not payed so much attention to laksh confession realisation in love with swara... she is just perfect for him...he closes his eyes sees swara ...his friend tells to him he is in love he accepts it ...so easily ...
i mean in serials ,mostly hero falls in love with heroine who knows when but realisation after so much time always...
😊i like swarya always ...but maybe i loved ragya because they moved their storyline very slowly...😆

waise...,good news for all here are i dont think ragini will talk or pay attention to laksh any more and dream about him after her accident ...i am sure...she will avoid laksh ...

but 😆who knows after her accident what will happen but one thing i am sure is she will be a changed ragini not previous one who follows her elders blindly ...without thinking about the consequences... 😊

😊i would not mind swarya and sangini also but the cvs should better clear this confusion😕 as we want a particular couple to enjoy not a khichdi of all the interwined couples together...😆

Swara isn't exactly like what Laksh wants tho I think. She fits into most of the boxes, but not all. She's a bit too critical and bossy for him I'd say. He wants an equal partner, she'd completely overshadow him LOL. But yes, I do see your point.

Also, I didn;t find Laksh's realization to be too fast? Idk. Like he knew her from before and actually sort of *live* with her. So he got to know her better and faster than he would have if they had just been developing a new friendship. From other scenes we've seen of them (how he called her when he was tensed about going home and how she went to him to confess that dadi was still evil), that they've actually spent a considerable amount of time together just hanging out as well. Like not just meeting/seeing each other in their colony/ house but also outside and to the point where both are super comfortable with each other. Rather, I feel like his actions post his love confession have been too extreme? But I'm chalking that up to the fact that he's in a tensed situation right now? Like if things were just proceeding normally, I think he'd prefer to date her for a while, rather than insisting to marry her like he said in the precap.

And yeah you've described why I'm finding myself potentially getting on board with SanSwa pairing LOL. But I feel like it could also be interesting for the SanGini aspect. And I actually think Ragini is stronger than that. All the characters in the show treat her as some china doll who'll break with a single shock. But she;s far more resilient than that I'd argue. She stood up in front of DP for her parents. She has it in her to fight. I think it would also be interesting to see how Ragini handles Sanskaar -- he'd completely underestimate her.

And yeah, dida is my fav LOL. the actress playing her is so fabulous!

Thank you creationschhavi!

Haha so you're another minority who wouldn't mind any pairing? There aren't many people here!

Swara-Sanskar haven't even had a real interaction other then that one time where he stopped her from seeing Ragini. So for all we know it could be in our heads. 😆

SwarYa are already established as cute. My favourite scene was when Swara painted Laksh's face black. 😆

Yeah I didn't like Laksh's realization, it could have been done better. So if SwarYa is happening I hope they take time with her realization. With tons of cute moments but not drag it at the same time.

When I said the realization was too fast, I meant the CVs didn't show many cute scenes. Where he admires her lovingly and what not. His friend just blurted it out for him after that one scene. If SwarYa does happen I hope they take time with her feelings. 😳 Lots of cute stuff. I do like their friendship though, whatever happens I hope they maintain that bond!

Thats true, Ragini's "BAS" to DP's goons was quite strong. I want her to continue growing and SanGini will be interesting too. I want Ragini to find out the truth about Sanskaar next. She should take the lead into sorting this mess out vs. Swara.

Sanskaar is out to destroy Maheshwari family and using Ragini and Swara as pawn in his game so do you honestly think that any of the girls would want to be with him knowing what he has done to them?

In my opinion, since they have shown SwarYa a lot in the show already, that's going to happen as no potential couple is given so much screen space if it ain't going to happen. Yet its going to time for it come to fruition as it's going to take Swara time to sort her feelings out.

U shud back the potential couple that's happening when it's obvious it's going that way as they would not go through the entire drama of stopping the RagYa engagement if it wasn't to push SwarYa love story forward. SwarYa are going to happen and happening already yet going to take time for Swara's realisation to happen for that.

Other than ur couples talk, I agree with rest of ur post.

Yeahh, there is a chance that he's purely evil and his stay in the show is just as a villain and nothing else!

And the show has grown on me! Especially the Bose Family!😳
