Awww thanks Teju! Appreciate the compliments -- they mean a lot! 😳 My name is Isha btw!
I agree with you in that SuSwa also have a right on Ragini and her decisions. But they both also have to tread carefully within the Garodia house as Dadi-Dada Ji are already unhappy with their presence and one single mistake could be their downfall. Like you said, it's a hard conflict to navigate. Similarly, I also can't wait for SuRag scenes. I think one of the reasons Ragini is so drawn to accepting Sumi as her mother is because of how open and expressive Sumi is with her love. Although Dadi raised Ragini, she was always a bit cold and restrictive with Ragini. Naturally, Dadi is not as open a person as Sumi. Sumi is extremely open and Ragini likes that and feels drawn to it. I think Shekher also recognizes that Sumi would be a wonderful influence in opening up Ragini.
As for Ragini's love for Laksh. Tbh, I'm not quite sure what I think of it myself. But I'll try to put down my jumbled thoughts -- I apologize if the following is messy and incoherent.
I think Ragini isn't in love with Laksh per se. I think, from a young age like all girls, Ragini idealized a man who'd become her eventual husband. She thought of all his qualities and how'd they'd live happily together (kind of like Laksh and his dream girl Swara). And then came along Lakshya Maheshwari's rishta for her. On paper, Lakshya seems like an ideal match for her. He's sanskaari, mature, good looking, smart, lovable, dutiful son, etc. Basically all the things she envisioned in her future husband. And the fact that the Maheshwari's were exactly like her own family just added to her excitement. So I feel like she projected her feelings for her Mr. Perfect onto Lakshya.
But the problem that arises, is that Lakshya doesn't exist, he's made up. Lakshya Maheshwari was a made up character, as assumed by DP. The real Lakshya Maheshwari, is actually Laksh and Lucky (two sides of the same coin). She's been slowly getting introduced to Laksh. And although he isn't exactly like her Mr. Perfect Lakshya, she doesn't mind him. She thinks that he's chivalrous (he didn't want her to get caught with her on the terrace), nice (he helped her get ShekSu together), good (he refused to let her family get insulted -- left his own family because of that), etc. Point to note in that last point -- she doesn't know that Laksh left his house not only because of the insult DP reaped upon her family, but because Lucky was fed up of DP dominating ways -- again hinting that she doesn't know the entire story/ Laksh/ Lucky. Also, within Laksh, she also sees things that she doesn't really like. Like his tendency to favour Swara over her, his tendency to be more open with Swara than her, his tendency to lose his cool and yell at her, etc. Similarly, she also has no idea that Lucky exists. She doesn't know that he kidnapped her sister, he leaked the video, he likes to party, etc. Lucky and Ragini are absolutely opposites with no common ground and yet she doesn;t even know he exists. Thus, she herself does not know enough about Laksh to really love him I think.
So in conclusion, I think she loves her Mr. Perfect Lakshya Maheshwari with depth and conviction, but not Laksh/ Lucky with depth and conviction. Unfortunately as Lakshya Maheshwari does not exist, I think she's going to be in for a rude awakening when she meets Lucky and gets to fully know Laksh.
