Brutal truth: Truth can be hard to swallow
"Standing up for the truth is important, but at the same time maintaining one's respect too is essential"
The episode today arises with Swara and Ragini joining hands as one and facing Mr Maheshwari. Ragini firstly has always been a girl whom subsequently spoke, she was a reserved person and never had she elevated her voice. She was someone whom used to not even lift a finger without a word from her grandmother but today, what an alteration. She has arose out of the shell, that bubble, that case, no longer was she the same reserved person. This Ragini was the confident Ragini, no longer afraid but standing up for what's correct, it is what it should be. She as well as Swara both rocked the episode today.
A bond that is so precious, they both were joined from the heart but were not aware of it, they shared a bond that they never knew. 20 years later it did open up but what followed that time was a wall of bitterness of misconception but today it's all broken. I loved the way Ragini admitted today of Swara being her sister, the same person whom she thought of as her neighbour was her very own sister, they like I've mentioned, shared a bond so strong that it was unbreakable. Ragini finally came out to admit about Swara being her sister. This was one step towards breaking the wall, the wall of 20 years. It's the first step to breaking this massive brick-wall of hate down. The same wall which has brought nothing but damage in their life. For them this is the first step to bringing in Shekhar and Sharmistha together.
Further-on, for the first time ever, Mr Maheshwari was silent as he did not have an answer nor could he say anything. Sharmistha, Shekhar, Swara and Ragini, the family of four, provided them with fitting answers. The guy whom talks of self-esteem, of showing respecting one another, does not have an ounce of respect for others. He is a person whom is so apprehensive that he uses force and vehemence to shut people up and teach them a lesson. This is no way of showing one's power or strength, this is just plain insecurity.
Coming to the four-some as Mr Maheshwari leaves was an emotional one. Swara and Ragini both have had the loved life, have had an awesome child-hood, Hitler grand- mother despite of having the controlled personality and a strict traditional value and an attitude has provided Ragini with the love of a mother, provided her all she deserves, which Ragini herself admits. However she still has missed that motherly figure in her life, deep down somewhere she still needed her. And she found this in Sharmistha.
I loved the way she again accepted Sharmistha as her mother, gave her the highest title anyone could ask for. The yearning for a mother, that what's came out within Ragini regardless of of all the care and love she has had. This of course is something natural; you always feel this emptiness and miss your mother despite of the care you receive. You miss their natural touch and this is what they missed. Swara, herself missed the father figure on her life. Each day she yearned for him when he was right in front of her, both girls for 20 years had this emptiness somewhere within them which came out today.
Sharmistha and Shekhar, the two star crossed lovers, bound within their hearts yet hiding their feelings. They wish to come together yet they cannot. The big wall of hate does not let them. They both have been bound within a capacity that they cannot back-out from. A promise that can lead to disaster if they move forward and they very well know this. Their love for each other will never die out; it is open in their teary eyes. Their daughters persuaded them but yet they couldn't. They wanted to move forward but every time they did they remembered the brutal aptitude they are bound by.
"True Lovers Never die", No matter the bitterness in their life, if they are destined as one, they will come together."
One thing is for sure their love for each other as mentioned will never die out, it will keep burning. One good moment for both the parents today was their daughters. Sharmistha and her overwhelming happiness knew no bounds as for the first time ever, Ragini calls her "Mother", gives her the highest place in her heart. While Shekhar, receives the biggest gift too, his daughter. Both got the biggest gift more than anything despite of the sparseness in their life today. They got their daughters. What I'll add here is the bound and the wall will someday break and we will see this beautiful family come together. And their daughters have now begun their first step towards it, as one someday they will come together, the hurdles along would not be easy, it will make them fall, it will cause them pain but one thing they have is their backs for each other, they have their very own family, their mother and father, whom will be there for them as always.
Now coming to Laksh, Laksh has always been a guy whom had shown full confidence and to the outer world shown of him having this carefree life, enjoying the freedom, the lifestyle. To the outside world he was this guy whom enjoyed life to the fullest. Laksh is a guy whom has been foreshadowed by everyone as a person whom is mischievous, and full of life and having this full self-assurance.
But this was just the white paint that he had painted himself. He had created the Laksh he wanted to be, inside he was still a kid whom yearned for his father, whom yearned for that fatherly friend, that best friend and the son and father moment. He clearly understands the pain of having a father yet not being able to spend some precious time with him. Laksh has always had this controlled life style where he has always been told what to do inside his own home. Never had he had the opportunity to speak for himself, he had to always abide by the rules and regulations, never allowed to show one's opinion, he was caged inside his own home. I would not say Laksh does not have everything he does but still this was not just enough for him. Wanting to escape he had created this Laksh in the outside world but this was no help.
Today this guy finally erupted. The frustration, the anger, the sadness all came out in front of his father. Mr Maheshwari had this blank expression, unable to accept the way his son was speaking to him. His features almost looked softened as he gave this blank look towards his son. Laksh showed Mr Maheshwari as his ball of frustration broke of what he feels like or has felt like over the years. His father had been a control freak, which Laksh rightly said. For Mr Maheshwari, this was a bitter pill to swallow, for any parent it is a bitter pill but Mr Maheshwari needed this reality check, he needs to wake up and realize violence does not solve anything, it only causes your loved one to go further away from you. You lose them, not gain, controlling is not the answer but showering love and support is the key. He needs to wake up and realize it soon or once again he will lose even what he still has.
He's already lost so much with his ego and his constant control. He really does need a wake up call.
Overall it was another dramatic episode.
Pre-cap: Another Shocker comes as Laksh reveals Hitler Maheshwari was behind the death of Sanskar, that he was the man behind it all. Mr Maheshwari looks angry yet has this silent expression. Also on the other side, Hitler dadi and Hitler dadaji are on the verge of committing a sucide, Swara and everyone notices this and are in complete shock mode.
