What a start to the relationship this is for Karan and Naina! Where nobody understands what the other is saying, where they hear but don't listen.

Naina is making the best out of her situation. All her actions today spoke of it. When she sweetly decides to let Karan win, when she apologizes to Karan for everything she has done, my heart went out to her. She was so honest with him about everything and genuinely wanted to start afresh. But that was not to be. Because Karan was on a totally different tangent. And she did not understand. She can't be expected to also. I really felt for her.

Karan broke my heart again today. So hesitant, so afraid and trying to cover it all with bravado. Right from the ring ceremony, to in his room, he just wanted Naina to disappear. When for a moment he thought she knew the truth, he was on the backfoot but worst was when he found out she didn't know. He was so disappointed that she had misunderstood him! She had no reason to understand and Karan knows this but still it hurt him. And now he is going to continue with this charade. Its his defence mechanism.

Two people, at cross purposes and at an important cross road in their life, one they have to walk together. They'll stumble, fall and get up again. But they'll do it all together. And it will be a beautiful journey!

Naina's trying hard to move forward. To bury all their not-so-good past encounters and start afresh. She had the best of intention, from the ring ceremony right to her apologizing. As for the ring-rasm, really, I don't know whom to feel worse for - Naina was shocked at the reaction she got. And Karan? Sitting in a room full of people who just didn't understand him, the pressure of expectations he felt, how hesitantly he reached into the milk - and just freaked out by such a little touch. I wonder what it is like to be surrounded by people you really love and who love you, too, but yet, feel so alienated from everyone?

I loved it how Naina was ready to apologize and offer a new start for the both of them. Even she knows that they are nowhere near the "married" base but every good relation should start with friendship, no? But Karan - as you put it - just broke my heart. How he thought she knows everything, he was defensive already although, a little resigned maybe even relieved... and then, the realization, "No, she doesn't know anything- She misunderstands me just like everyone else does."

Guess that is what ticked him off. Obviously, he cannot expect her to understand him straight away. But mayb, unknowingly, he is giving this marriage more meaning than he admits and thus, hoped that she might be different... the way she started her apology might have made him hope even if he didn't show nor admit it. But then, it didn't matter what was rational and what wasn't - he was stuck at the realization that she is like everyone else - who has misunderstood him. Hurt him. Thus, he is not just reluctant to let her in but completely unwilling to.

Tough 😆

Exactly. You didn't know who to feel more bad for. They were both so confused today.

Naina's heart is in the right place but she isn't going to get anywhere because she is working on incorrect assumptions. Till she finds out the truth, this will continue and cause more damage to their relationship. And then she'll have to start from scratch all over again. As if the situation was not bad enough already.😆

Karan's reaction really baffled me in a way. Why does he expect Naina to understand? Why is he hurt that She misunderstood him? Maybe because she does understand his aversion to touch and respects it - clearly something no one else in the family cares about. Its like she failed to meet an expectation he himself did not know he had. 😆

Its going to be some ride!

I was wondering the same. Why does Karan expect Naina to understand him? Has she unknowingly made a bit of space for herself in him by being considerate of his no touch issue??

His disappointment really surprised me Di! You are only disappointed if you expected something in the first place and this shows he did have one. I wasn't expecting it at all!

I guess it might be related to her noticing his aversion to touch. Also, but that is only my own guess, he might give their marriage more weight than he, himself, is realizing, atm, so that might be playing a role into his disappointment, as well. Plus, Naina keeps approaching him to be friends - she did it at the wedding and is doing it now. Therefore, he might have thought that somewhere, she understands - because other people clearly do not keep coming back once they see how "weird" he is. Yet, she does. Might also be that the fact she spoke out her misunderstanding like truth (that she believes they are) that hit a nerve- like, no matter how often it happens, how often he is misunderstood, he doesn't get used to it 🤔

Does that make any sense? 😆

It makes perfect sense! Because Naina has been reacting differently to him, he subconsciously started expecting that she understood. Also, maybe it's his deep desire for people to understand his problem without him saying it, as he does not like talking about it. Its something similar to when people sulk. They want to be mollified, but don't want to say what they are angry about.

I finally watched the episode and I swear I'm dumbfounded. I have no idea who to feel bad for.
Naina tried but for all the wrong reasons. She doesn't know whatever the truth is, so not her fault. She is trying to make the best of a situation. One thing is certain that Naina is never ever going to make fun of Karan again.
I felt that for a little while, Karan appreciated the apology but the moment she said rishta, he did the only thing he knows. Was harsh and put up his defensive walls.
He is going to feel bad when he sees Naina crying. Not sure if he is ever going to witness it.
As much as it was painful, it's going to be so much fun to watch them both grow and dying to see how their relationship will progress.

I agree Di. He was listening to her and considering her apology and then she said rishta and he lost it! 😆

Naina will grow up a lot in this relationship. They both will actually.

If we are to go by their segments, they relationship starts building almost immediately. That's what I got. Naina will keep trying, he will keep pushing her away but for how long. His resolve will break eventually!!
