So, Dadu and Nirmala know that NK had the shart and stuff?

Aaj to everyone was watching tennis match between Dadu and NK. 😆
I had a thought. As much as NK was wrong, wasn't there some point in his dialogues? I mean he has no autonomy, no authority and all this can really cause you to lash out. I kind of felt a little for him when he said that I can't even sign cheques or choose my daughter in laws. Dadu somewhere is too controlling. Its like a vicious cycle.

Yes 😆 Meghna told Dadu straight out that it was a shart. NK also added what Badi Mami did and how they were insulted. But Dadu was really in a, "How could you, as a father, make your son's marraige a shart? / How did this father (meaning himself) fail? Marriage is a sacred relation / You forgot that choosing bahus is my right!" And so on 😆 And NK let out all his bitterness and we got a picture of his real Daddy issues 🤣

I agree 😆 I mean, leave the rest, every father would like to have a say in the choosing of his daughter-in-law. It's, after all, his son's life. But then, maybe NK has always been like this - arrogant, full of himself - and Dadu just never saw him to be ready to take on all these responsibilities? On a work-base, I can understand, thus, that Dadu would hesitate to give him power. But on a family-base... well, NK didn't do himself any favor by getting Karan married like this 🤣

Though, if Dadu had tried to give NK semi-autonomy... like, part of the business, he can handle himself to prove himself 🤔 Although, Dadu's dialogue indicated that NK got a lot of things/rights, as well, which he conveniently forgot in light of what he doesn't have.

Complicated! 🤣

On that same note, Dadu's still very soft-spoken to NK and handles his tantrums and doesn pick fights or anything. In comparison to that... I mean, NK-Karan have obvious issues, too, but they don't seem to particularly stemm from Karan's personality, per se, but other factors. And NK's very vocal about it with his taunts and all that. As much as he might feel Dadu is suffocating him, Dadu tries to give him space and all - but NK, on the other hand, literally suffocates Karan 🤔

Should learn that if he can develope resentment for his father who still treats him well, Karan, obviously, would be much worse off 🤣

As I mentioned, I think its a vicious cycle. NK was probably hot headed and hence Dadu never gave him responsibility and that further aggravated him. But my point is that somebody should have broken it na. And I expect Dadu to do it. Because sometimes you have to let kids take risks and then let them bear the consequences as well. About him being given things, I'm not too sure. Sounds like something every parent says in counter to a rant. 😆

Another thing struck me as well. Even if Meghna told him about the shart, Dadu didn't ask NK for an explanation at all and blamed him immediately. While he deserved that, parents will ususally ask their child at least once for an explanation na,

About Karan, NK would notice if he wasn't wallowing in self pity all the time. 😆

True that. Many parents have this issue, this doubt to "let the kids grow up" - they think they have to handle things because they kids can't. But then, if you never let them try, how would you know? Sometimes, it is better to let them try and fall than to decide everything and thus, have all this resentment built up between the two of you.

I noticed that, too 😆 I guess in Dadu's eyes, there was no justification for what happened... even then, you'd ask your kid about what exactly transpired before chopping off their head. Lagta hai Dadu just expects the worst of his son - which begs the question how he even left the marriage in NK's hands, knowing fully well how NK could be and how little he thought of Sharda.

Self-pity is apt 😆 But I must admit, I am quite excited to see this NK-Karan relationship develope throughout the show - maybe we can even get a literal moment where NK gets out of his self-pity and sees how much his behaviour made his own son suffer 😆

NK Karan relationship also has so much potential!!! There is so much to find out! Why is it this way, what is going to happen etc etc. Its like every relationship associated with Karan is a mystery had has potential. Or maybe I am biased. 😆

Btw, the car scene in your siggy box gave me a very random thought. How much time do you think it will take, if ever, for NaiRan to go from this to "Baby pull me closer in the Backseat of your Rover"? 🤣

Khayti really thinks that Naina told Vaibhu to do the candy-prank - the one where Karan bit down on a stone 😆 That's why she put stones in there, now. But Dadu scolded her and asked her to apologize.

Sona - if you are biased than so am I! 🤣 As for how long... err... in terms of years? 🤣 Long enough! 😆
